The New World
A roleplay about the tale of the English settlers and the Virginia indians..
So this idea popped up when I was listening to the amazing soundtrack of Pocahontas by Alan Menken. I believe that no RPG was started before on this topic so I'm hopin that this will be lots of fun!
Plot:
It is not my greatest object to construct an historical accurate epos in the highest degree of validity
(The tale is that Pocahontas was only a child when the settlers arrived and so on, and so on) So we should not struggle with details
The main story will be about the confrontation of the English colonists who arrive in Virginia, in the search for gold, riches and land, and the Powhatan tribe, who have lived there for many many years, and the battle that might proceed it.
Something which should not be forgotten upon picking a characters is that, although Pocahontas will try to befriend the two parties, the general opinion of the Indians will be that the Colonists are devils and a threat to their community and the Colonists thought the Indians to be savages and heathens.
Characters:
Be as creative as you like, but keep it realistic. No magical powers whatsoever. The colonists are likely to be men, if there would be any women, they are lady like, who behave themselves as ladies.

Rules:
- Please be
dedicated when you join this. Everyone has busy lives so it does not matter that this will become a slow-paced RPG but do not join and post once or twice and disappear
- No godmodding
- Please post paragraphs instead of one-sentenced posts
- Keep the number of characters a bit down, rather have two developped characters than five very random and shallow charries.
