Lothwen gasped. Her own sister didn't even know where Cair Paravel was! "You don't know?" she said in amazement. "How could you not know that Cair Paravel is only the castle in Narnia where the Kings Peter and Edmund and the Queens Susan and Lucy rule?"

(Lets skip ahead a little...I feel like writing...)
Luthien slipped away from the family and strolled onto the top deck. The sea's strong winds whipped her long chesnut hair about her face, and she pulled her cloak tightly about her body. The pale moon glistened on the foaming waves, the light falling upon the deck and casting long shadows across its surface. Her mind wandered to a far off place, and a sad song rose to the forefront of her mind. She let the words roll around in her mind, before the slow, sweet melody escaped her lips.
"They wandered far, only to find,
That they had left their love behind,
No longer warm, drifted away,
Until the breaking of the day..."
Luthien lifted her eyes to gaze at the heavens, trying to find Arhonel, her birth star. Its light warmed her heart, and a smile slid across her lips. "Not us, not us," she murmered, "Do you not know? Linnon am meleth vîn. [I sing because I love you]"
Stirring from her reverie, Luthien turned and descended the steps to retire for the night.

[this is off the subject, but I've thought of some possible second names for our family. I thought it would be neat to have elvish names so. . .I got out my dictionary and looked through it to try to make up something.  1st: Celebdil. . .my favorite it means Silver Point, or Silver Friend. celeb=silver dil=point, friend 2nd: Elluin, means Star Blue or Blue Star. el=star luin=blue. 3rd: Ellome. Means Star Dusk or Dusk of Stars. el=star lome=dusk. Tell me what you think! (((and your last post was beautiful, Luthien.  ] _________________

[Thanks sis! I like Ellome, it just sounds, regal I guess. Let's try it...Luthien Ellome, daughter of Elegost. Or Luthien Inglorion, nee Ellome. I like it! Hmm, Luthien Celebdil, Luthien Elluin, they both sound great as well. I am afraid that with my marriage to FaZ, I have lost my family name (whatever it will be) *sniff* Maybe I could call myself Luthien Ellome-Inglorion....] _________________
