Merrina waded hesitantly in up to her waist, gasping at how cold it was. She stopped to catch her breath - the fast-flowing stream had nearly knocked her off her feet.

Gabriel plunged into the river. The water was fast and cold, but it meant the Elves' escape. He looked at the Merrina as she slowly waded in. "Are you allright?" he asked her.

Shaniya trudged into the water, scowling at the coldness of it. She sunk down to her knees and waited for all of the elves to get in so they could continue thier journey.

Rocco returned to his headquarters in anger. He could not stand Trosky when he is at his good mood to humiliate people. Luckily, he took a phone call from one of his guards. That ease his anger turned to a brief expression of happiness already as soon as he heard the good news. One of the guard has seen them and tracked them till the prisoners stop.
Rocco took his radio and told the orders immediately. "it is gonna be so good" Rocco said to himself in pleasure. He has left his headquarters and headed to the coordinates where the elves had seen the last time as told by his fellow guard surely.

Gabriel stood in the water, testing the river's strength and currents. The Elves had learned to swim at the facility, but in controlled situations. He glanced around at the others, then pushed off the bottom and started swimming with powerful strokes.

Merrina hesitantly waded a bit farther and suddenly dropped as the bottom of the river sloped steeply. She treaded water and moved forward slowly, testing the current.

Shaniya pushed off from the rock she was perched on and started to swim. Each time she felt herself tense up she relaxed and let the current take her along.
