Ryairon detected a subtle nuance in the forest behind her and spun. She rotated in a slow circle, threatening the shadows with her bow. "Who goes there?"

Shade was quiet during everything and forgotten as usual. He was leaning in the stables as everyone mounted up. He tried to get noticed, but Robert just pasted him, muttering something that he could not make up, and Shade just moved out of the way. As they left, Shade watched them ride away. He sighed and muttered, "Typical, just another boy left behind while the 'more experienced and more trusted' people go and do all the work. Ugh, I'm bloodly tired of it and I will stand for it no longer." He said, and grabbing the reigns of a black steed that his father had gave him, Shade thought, "Besides, if something goes wrong, they have no back-up plan...or they might need a diversion." He mounted and started taking another way to get to thw wall.

Aeflaed raised her hands in peace and stepped forward. "I'm Aelfric. I mean no harm." She grimaced inward, she needed to work on making her voice sound more like a boys.

Shade reached the wall and unmounted. "I don't want you seen, boy." He said and he snuck up quietly, his bow in his hand with an arrow in the other. He remained unseen and waited to see what events would unfold.

Robert pulled his horse up quickly beside Gwyn.

“Is it just me...” he whispered suspiciously, “...or do you also have a strange feeling of being followed. He turned around, scanning the woods with his eyes carefully, noting the empty stillness... it wasn’t right. “Let’s ride faster...” he suggested, wheeling his horse around sharply to the left, and moving to a gallop.

Shade looked at the wall, seeing that more gaurds had arrived since what Robert had foretold. "Bloody-" Shade then heard horse hooves coming from the opposite direction. He quickly ducked low beneath the bushes and await to see what was coming.
