Shannon followed Charlie into the hatch. It seemed so strange and unnatural compared to everything on the island. As if it didn't belong here. "They will bring him here.." she said "Jack and Kate are coming too."

Locke looked up from the computer desk, with a furrowed brow as Charlie bundled in through the doors. "A guy?" he repeated back "Charlie, slow down and tell what's going on"
Locke's voice was calm and rational, he was very rarely flustered.

John contemplated Charlies words and looked over at him as he sat down on a chair in front of him "Maybe he's telling the truth. The island contains many mysteries Charlie. Many we may not understand at face value." his train of thought was disturbed as he heard the ticking indicating it was time to punch in the number sequence.
"Excuse me" Locke said quietly as he spun round on his chair and pressed each number carefully and hit enter.
