A baleful glare was sent in Mirrim's direction, and Tajien reluctantly released the bandages. "Fine, fine.." he grumbled, sinking back into the rough mattress of the 'bed'(for lack of a more suitable word).

"Oh, you're awake, Raevyn," added Mirrim, kneeling down by Meleth. "And don't you move, this is touchy," she told the elf sternly, and looked up at Tajien, completely ignoring Meleth's muffled profanities as she unwound the blood-saturated bandages. "And don't glare at me, either."

"Was I glaring?" Tajien asked calmly, adjusting his expression to one of neutrality, then he grunted softly as Raevyn reached over and smacked him. "Easy..watch where you aim.." he said to her darkly, rubbing his side.

"That's for glaring." came the calm retort, as she sat up completely and swung her legs over the edge of the 'bed'. "And yes, I'm awake..finally.."

"How do you feel?" inquired Mirrim. "That was some nasty poison they used." She paused to finish retying the bandages around Meleth's midsection, and sat back, saying, "There. I know it hurts, but I have to do it. And if I find you straying from that bed today for one moment...!"

"Slave driver," muttered Meleth, very pale. "I almost think the remedy hurts more than the wound."

"I feel if I move too much, I'm going to split open." came the completely serious reply, as Raevyn touched her side gingerly, wincing. "More or less."

Vennir, becoming more alert, smiled fondly at his comrade's banter amongst themselves. He then turned to Mirrim,

"So, is there anything I can do to help the 'slave driver'?" He said with smirk, casting a glance at Meleth.

"Well, don't get up then!" replied Mirrim to Raevyn, scandalized. "You're going to make it worse!"

She looked up at Vennir with a smile. "I don't think so, I've got it mostly under control - but be warned, you three! If any of you sets foot off those mattresses today, I'll set Vennir on you!"
She tried to look stern but a grin crept in at the corner or her mouth.

Meleth, however, was looking intently at a spot behind Vennir, in a tree some feet off the ground. "There is something there," she said, frowning. Even now her elven eyes were superior to Mirrim's, who turned to look and said, puzzled, "I don't see anything."

Vincent shifted from on foot to the other.. He was sure that the elf eyes had sought him out..
He decided he would stay hidden in the tree unless more eyes sought him out.. He would attack Vennir when he was without his petty little friends..

Vennir, hearing the warning, whipped around, to find no one. He noticed that some of the branches were moving, ever so slightly... He frowned and turned around again.

"I think we need to be causious..." He then attempted to lighten the subject, "Anyway, Shall I keep an eye on them for you?" He gestured at all of the injured beings laying on the ground, looking at Mirrim.

Kith hissed, his shape now a black viper. What the leafy trees hid his heat scencing showed him. A man sat in a tree, sword drawn and looking at the camp. Kith didn't move: for now he was content with simply watching. But if the man tried anything he would be very sorry.

Mirrim dimpled. "Yes please," she said, with a grateful look. "Oh dear, I can't imagine how many people will be trying to get up when they shouldn't!" And she hurried off, with a parting, "Meleth, do try not to make it worse, will you?"

Meleth sighed. "I think she knows me too well."

Tajien, who had just started to get up and sneak off, froze, then sat back down with a grumbled oath.

Vincent leaned against the tree trunk casually..
The fools hadn't seen him.. But he knew this assasination wouldn't be a ball in the park.. He would have to somehow draw Vennir away from his friends.. Vincent thought carefully while making sure to keep an eye on the group below.

Vennir nodded, and his head snapped over to where Tajien was now just settling down. Vennir shook his head, and sat down the ground, crossing his legs. He then noticed that his hair was still very oddly placed. He smoothed it out, making sure he looked remotely civilized, hoping no one would notice.
