Gareion asked as he glanced at Arrearis and then back at the siblings.

"Dedication and modesty, something that you truly lack... but then again I never would have guessed that an ex-mercenary would have been much good for a father...."

Gareion said as Darkos simply hmphed at the ex-paladins words and lead them on deeper into the woods.

Rivhon rolled his eyes and followed Gareion, but soon slowed down so that he could talk with his sister,

"Rhiannon, As it seems we don't have a choice in this... I suppose we'd best do it, as you've probably figured by now, but..." He said quietly, once and a while glancing back up at Gareion, "I am starting to wonder if... If our bloodline is on the right side of life or not... Are we destined to save the world or gods or whatever it was, or shame it?"

"Does it matter?" was Rhiannon's uncharacteristically bitter reply. "We don't appear to have much of a choice in the matter, do we?"

Rivhon ground his jaw,

"True... I suggest we take a causious approach then... And let this Gareion know that we arn't puppets..."

"Tried that," said Rhiannon tightly. "He seems to have some strong preconceived ideas." She seemed to be unwilling to look up at her brother, and when a wayward tear rolled down her cheeck she dashed it away angrily.

Rivhon looked down at his sister, concerned. He twisted his torso around awkwardly to his left, so that he could see his sister's face.

"Rhi? Is something wrong?" Knowing that she probably wouldn't answer, he moved back to his oringinal posisition and put a hand on her shoulders, gently rubbing them. "It'll be fine.. It'll be ok.." He said, half to his sister, half to himself.

"I'm fine," Rhiannon demurred, but she didn't push him away. "How do we know it'll be okay? We don't...we don't know anything." She sniffed valiantly and squeezed her eyes shut, horrified should any of the others see her crying.

Rivhon's jaw clentched tighter than it was before. He didn't know.

"I-I.. I don't. I don't know anything. But... but as long as we stick together we'll be alright for the time being. Just hold on, Rhi." He said, glaring daggers at Gareion for causing his sister and himself so much confusion and stress.

Rhiannon nodded, for lack of anything else to do, and her quarterstaff continued thumping ferociously as she walked.

Gareion couldn`t help feeling the eye of the siblings in his back as he walked before them, he gazed at Darkos and cirsed loudly how stubbornly same they were in the end. All tough he wasn`t their father, still he had raised them and that bond could be used as Darkos seemed far more willing to act to get the job done.

After travelling many hours Darkos stopped at the edge of a wide opening, there was a huge grassfield and soon beyond it the mountain lines began or at least the slopes of the mountains.

"We stop here and make it over in the cover of the dark as we cannot trust the fact that we aren`t watched..."

He said as he stared out into the fields, he gazed at the twins.

"Rest all you can because once we get to the mountains then we need to hurry in order to cover all possible trails we could leave..."

Meanwhile Gareion had scrolled open a map, the valley that they were in would be the easiest part of their journey, after that it would be the mountains and then they would descend into the great woods beyond...

Rhiannon dumped her various weapons at the foot of a tree and came over to look at the map curiously.

Arrearis dismounted, and untacked the mare, and rubbed her down then let her go off and graze. She took her quiver off her back, and hung it on a branch, keeping her sword at her side...

Rivhon, curious, walked over to peer over his sister's shoulder, he being several inches taller than her.

He gazed at the illustration of the lands that he had never seen, some of them never heard of. He looked over the old parchment with a little surprise when he noticed that the area in which their 'home' was located showed up as but a small dot on the map.
