Cat stood up, and winked apologeticly at the commander, her chair having scraped loudly against the floor.
She turned to Tristan, and nodded towards the door "You coming?"

Khalil glanced disapprovingly at Jada. Such a frivolous attitude could not only get her killed, but the whole team as well. He shook off the feeling; the others didn't seem to upset at this comment. Infact Cavan, to his left, had to hide his smile behind a hand. Khalil rose as his commander ordered them to pack up. He marched towards the door with long strides. Cavan followed surpisingly quickly. They were stride in stride when Cav patted him on the back. "You ready for the mission?" He asked with a grin on his face. A grin? This guy could be happy through anything. But dispite his slight disgust at this man's pertetual giddiness, he had to grin too. They were going on a mission, practically the only thing Khalil enjoyed.

"Yes, I am" He said. Cavan glanced behind them, looking at Cat.

"Are you coming?" He asked.

(OCC - sorry it's taken me soooo long... really I am).

Tristan stood and left the room, holding in coughs as he went.

(unless anyone has anything important to do, I'm thinking of skipping ahead to when they leave...)

At 0500 the next morning, Tristan was up and about, preparing the remainder of his things and wolfing down breakfast. Five minutes before 0600 he made his way down the corridors to the meeting room.

"Hey, Tristen, wait up!" Jada called runing down the hall after him.
"You heading to the sleeping-I mean meeting room? I honestly don't see how you all stay awake in there. The comander doesn't have a funny bone in his body, I think he might have a heart attack if I walk in late again. Did you have breakfast yet, I'm sooo hungry. Do you think we will get to fight some guards today or do you really think the place will be unguarded?" Jada fiered off questions excited about her first mission.

The Commander is a great guy, and if you don't pay close enough attention, who knows what'll happen in the thing." Tristan coughed, covering his mouth with his arm. "But yes, unless the enemy has figured something out, the tunnel will be unguarded."

Neil walked down the stairs, joining Tristan and Jada. "How's it going?" he asked them.

"It's going good." Jada replied. "Are you excited about this mission? I am. Are you positive there won't be any guards? I really wanted to get in some extra combat practice." They were almost to the room.

Neil shrugged. "Well, it's a mission." he said. "I've been on quite a few. Usually they've consisted of sitting in a van or hotel room waiting for something to happen." He glanced at Jada's excited face. "Sorry, I'm just a bit cynical, I guess. There might be guards- you never know!" He smiled.

"Only a mission for you," Tristan said. "This is my first. I'm super excited, but really nervous at the same time. So much could go wrong, eh?"
