Tara beamed, she had hoped that James would open up to her again, maybe he was on his way. "I am as ready as ever for the day, shall we go?"

"Sure," he said. He opened the door, allowing Tara to walk out of the apartment and then followed her out. As they made their way towards the cafeteria, he greeted various employees of the MI6. Finally they came upon the cafeteria where M was waiting with a cup of tea.
"Thank you, James," M immediately said. "I can take it from here."
James politely nodded his head and departed to get a good decent breakfast.

Tara smiled at M before watching James as he got his food.

M sipped her tea while watching Tara very closely. Then she said, "Now, Miss Night, I would like to know why there are people trying to kill you."

Tara turned back to M. "I'm not really sure, I was doing some accountant things for my boss, I know it is a step down, and I spotted what seemed like a couple of errors. I pointed them out. He Told me to go home and as I was walking home a car tried to run me down, I know this sounds bad, but that was not the first time."

"Not the first time?" M repeated. "Please elaborate on that. And James, I would appreciate it if you would did not eavesdrop on us." She picked up the small bug that James had obviously placed and threw it away with disdain.

James made an embarrassed face before returning to his food.

Tara gave a little laugh, before turning back to M. "Thats right. I have also had attempted drive by shooting, attempted poisoning in restarants. The list does seem to go on, I tried to wait it out until my car was stolen and the thief was killed by a car bomb. Thats when I called you."

((Bump.))

"Do you know any reason why they might try to kill you?" M asked. "You haven't been employed in MI6 for two years now."

Tara shrugged. "I don't know, they have never told me. Of course there has yet to be a attempt that is face to face."

"Ok, very well," M said, pouring some more tea. "Before these attempts, have there been any hate mail? Letters from an unknown sources?"

Tara shook her head. "I think it has something that has to do with the 'errors' I found, if that is not at all what they are."

"Errors?" M repeated. "Please explain."

"Well, every thing would balance. As it should, but on the list of money spent, there was all sorts of amounts that if it was added to together was more then it really was. In addition, uf all the things paid back to balance it, those other payments out were not included." Tara sighed. "It didn't even say what the payments were for."
