Demi sighed. "yes and i'm sick of it...i haven't had a normal life becuase of it...and now that my father is sick, there is more responsability." just then a frantic messanger fairy came flying up to Demi.
"my princess" he bowed. "word has been sent that your father wishes to see you in his chambers. my lady he is not well...." the messanger waited for demi to answer him.
Demi looked shocked but she knew this day would come. the day when her father would parish. she didn't say a word she just flew back to the palace as fast as she could. and that was pretty fast. she ran to her Fathers chambers to see her brother and two older sisters there. the oldest sister was already weeping. Demi walked in slowly. "father? i'm here.."
the kings eyes fluttered open and he smiled slightly. "ah my child, come sit next to me.." he patted the bed next to him. Demi walked over to the bed and sat gracfully. the king reached to take Demi's hand. Demi wiped away a tear that had crept down her face. "my daughter....you will help lead the armies and the kingdom alongside your brother." he said as he looked at his other children. the eldest sister gasped. but her brother quieted her. just as the king was about to say something else he was caught in a coughing fit. he squeezed Demi's hand for saport. after his fit of coughing he gently rubed his thumb on Demi's hand and he faded away.

Demi burst into uncontrolable tears.

SHe turne and walked to her chambers which were completely crafted of black marble with vaines of gold dust trailing through it. She sat down at her dressing table and began brushing out her jet black hair.

the queen steped closer to me." excuse me.... i said we will march tomorrow and we WILL march tomorrow.." she said looking angryly into his eyes. "yes my queen." he bowed and ran out of the room to gather troops.
