Claire stood apart while Sawyer bound Amanda's wounds, then kept pressing. Amanda looked like she was sleeping now. At least she was still breathing. "Are you alright?" Claire tried to ask.

Amanda slowly opened her eyes and looked up at Claire. "What...happened? What...?" She concentrated keeping her eyes open as she looked at Claire who was leaning over her, pressing her hand on her stomach. She wanted to sleep again, to close her eyes. She was tired...so tired... She stared at Claires hands, scared as she saw the blood on her hands and her clothes. "Please...? My baby? Is everything alright...? What...what happened?"

"I..I don't know" Claire said. "You started screaming about some guy named Eric...and then blanked out I think..." She gave a look at the blood on her hands. "We have to wait for Jack, the doctor...he will know what to do with your wound..."

Sawyer walked back to his spot, bringing his bottle of water, still mumbling about the bloody doctor who was leaving him with the mess. He settled again and took his book. With a smile he looked at Claire while throwing his bottle over to Amanda. "You should drink something Bluey. Keep yourself hydrated.. that's what the doc would say." He rolled his eyes as he addressed the redhaired girl with one of his newest Australian nicknames.

Kate nodded. "I'm fine." She started searching the floor under the seats, then stood up as Jack found the tranceiver. "Does it look ok?"

Suddenly, the pilot moved in his seat and coughed. Kate gasped and jumped. "Wha- what's happening?" the pilot asked hoarsley.

Amanda took the water bottle and nodded. "Thank you." she had already felt her throat getting dry and she was dizzy. She drank the water and felt much better after drinking something. She looked at Claire. "Thank you" she whispered again. She curled up on the side. "That's not how it was supposed to work out" she whispered. "This isn't what I've promised. I've promised to start a new life, to care for our baby. I shouldn't be here. We all shouldn't be here."

"I know" Claire said, looking at her own stomach. "I hope everything is going to be fine.."

Jack's heart jumped in his chest when the pilot suddenly awoke with a gasp. Quickly he handed Kate the transceiver and turned to the pilot, carefully giving him a few sips from a water bottle. "We've crashed here. How are you feeling?"

"Well we first have to get ourselves rescued before everything will be fine, don't ye think?" Sawyer commented on the ladies conversation. He was starting to get annoyed that it was taking "their" rescuers so long to come and he had come to the decision that they might not even come. They were lost.

The pilot swallowed the water gratefully and leaned his head back. "I've been better. Where are we?"

Kate took the tranceiver carefully, not wanting to damage the device.

((I can't remember exactly how this scene played out, so feel free to play the pilot some if you need to. lol))

Claire nodded at Sawyer's comment, then she gave a look at Amanda. "Let's move from here, the sun is really hot and some shade will be better" she said "Can you walk?"

Amanda nodded. "I...I'll try...I think I can..." Slowly, she got up and almost fell down again. Leaning heavily on Claire, she went with her to a few trees.

Charlie went out of the wood and saw Claire and Amanda. Amanda seemed quite unable to walk, leaning on Claire, who obviously had troubles holding the girl. He went over to them and took Amanda under her arm. "Come...come on...lean on me..." He brought Amanda under the trees and helped her to sit down. Amanda slowly fell back into a deep sleep. Then he saw the blood on her clothes. He looked over to Claire in concern. "What is wrong with her?"
