Tamie stood quickly keeping her back to him. "I'm not allowed to see you anymore..." She turned to face him her eyes filled with tears. "My mother ... It's hard to explain ... I'm sorry." She picked up her bag and started to walk toward the door.

"What's not to understand... My mother is mega controlling and if she kicks me out I have no where else to go. She saw you walk me to the door last night and gave me the fith degree, then grounded me for what seems like all eternity and I'm lucky I was still able to go to the evening practices." She stopped talking and looked up at him. "I didn't mean for that to sound like I was blaming everthing on you... I'm sorry." She covered her face trying to muffle the sobbs that threatened to overwhelm her.

David was a little surprised. " no it didnt sound that way." of course he was lieing but only to make her feel better. " i'm sorry..i didnt know that i would get you in such trouble.." David then did something he hadnt done in a long time. he enfolded Tamie in a hug. she fit when corison had fit she felt like corison. she looked, smell and sounded like corison. it was all too much. he had to let go.

Tamie pulled away as David loosened his grip and turned walking out of the classroom. She went to the english class and sat down laying her head on the desk.

Tamie sat up as the class started and got her books out. Thankfully they were only reading today, and that helped to releve some of the stress. By the end of the class she felt better and had come to the decision that she didn't give a rap what her mother thought about David. She waited untill almost everyone had left before she walked up to him. "I apologise for my outburst earlier. My mother doesn't quiet realise that I'm not a little girl anymore, and despite the fact that I am old enough to take care of myself the thought of being kicked out of my house frightens me."

David sighed. " it's alright, i just didnt understand, i mean your responsable and great. i'm sure your trust worthy." David paused for a moment. " Tamie if you get kicked out i know a place where you can stay for sure." he said as they walked to lunch, right as he mentioned a place where Tamie could stay he saw Lanie.
David smiled! " lanie!" he called to her.
Lanie turned around. " hey David, hey.. i'm sorry i forgot your name" she looked embarresed.

She turned to David, "Where?" She asked curious about his previous comment.

David waved at lanie and then turned back to Tamie. " Lanie.." he said pointing at her. " thats corison's sister, they have an extra room. i'm sure lanie would love the company too" he smiled.

"I don't want to intrude upon her life." Tamie said watching Lanie walk away. "Besides, how do you know she would let me stay ... have you asked her?" Tamie sat at a table and unpacked a simple hut hearty meal. She keped her head down so Davis wouldn't see the blush that tinted her cheeks. "I have practice again tonight ..."

David shurgged. " i'm pretty sure you could stay their if you needed to. it's not like they would turn you down if things got bad with your mom." he said taking a bite of his own sandwich he had brought.

David didnt say anything to Tamie about her having practice that night.
Lanie had gotten pizza as she normally did.
her appitite (which is normally a big one) was just starting to come back. she could eat for a long time after corison's death.
she looked at the two. " so whats going on?" she asked.

Tamie shrugged and brushed a stray curl back from her face, then looked over at Lanie. "I have to practice tonight, but if you would like to have coffee after I would enjoy the company."

Lanie smiled. " sure." she glanced over at david and saw the look in his eyes when he looked at Tamie. something pricked her heart. it was sad but at least they were all moving on. thats what corison would have wanted.
she shook the thought of her sister from her mind and grined at david. " you wanna give me a ride to that Dave?" she asked

David smiled. " sure. " he looked over at Tamie. " if thats alright with you?"
