Layien was behind Alan as she saw Ralon's fist go into his shoulder. She glared at Ralon and as then yelled, "Oh, you coward! Going after the new kids and can't handle the old ones!" Ralon glared at her and whispered through clentched teeth, "I'll kill you, lad." Then, he shoved past Alan and then he was about to nail her with his fist in the gut, Layien's eyes turned to an snake like shape but an dark yellow like an wolves and she whispered something and Ralon screamed as if her had been bit on the shoulder by something with fangs, and blood trickled down his shoulder. He stared in horror at Layien and yelled, "I kill you Gawain Forestbane! I swear you won't become an knight before you are buryed in the ground!" Then, he rushed away and left. Layien's eyes went back to normal but she had to grab onto the chair behind her for support.

Gary stayed quiet as he moved away from the mess hall door. He had been the last to leave, save Ralon, Alan and Gawain, and had heard the commotion. He saw the whole thing, and decided it better to leave without them knowing they had been seen.

Well, when I was two, our campsite was attacked by Stormwings, both of my parents killed...An wolf arrived and killed the stormwing defending me. It ends up that my mother had an healing magic tied in with animals, and she passed it to me. I can form different traits as different animals in the forest, as long as I have meet them. I used it aciddently on Ralon tonight and it weakens me...if I was an boy I would not waeken so..."She stopped dead there and bit her tounge, blushing and looking down, waiting for Alan's reaction.
