Adam took a last look on his house, up to the attic, which has been his home for seven years. He had the feeling of running back, into the attic, where he had been felt save all the time. He saw the Coats behind the trees, coming into the wood searching for Lee, Cara and him and he knew, he couldn't get back. He would drive himself and his family in great danger if he would.

"Adam!" Lee called. Cara and her where already on the top of the hill.

Cara stopped and looked back as Lee spoke. She saw Adam behind them looking back towards the city before turning to follow them. Thoughts of her family and home sprang to her mind, but she hurridly pushed them away.

Lee hoped her brothers would comfort her mom after her absence and that they would be strong. She patted the dog as he licked her hand in comfort as they started to go again as they heard rustling in the bushes.

Adam really had the need to go back, to see his family again. He bit his lips. "Goodbye, mom", he whispered sadly. "Thank you. Thank you for everything" He turned his back to the house. Even when he wanted to go back, he knew he couldn't. He heard the Coats coming nearer, already saw them and ran behind Lee and Cara. He looked at them. "I'm alright", he said quickly. "We've to hurry."

As they reached the bottom of the hill, the dog barked loudly as Lee noticed an house near-by. "What's that?"

Nicky moved soundlessly through the forest. She did hear voices , also, the Dark Coats had approached the forest closer than they ever did. She heard rustling of the leaves and in the distance she spotted the little house, where they would look for shelter with rain or cold.
"Ah.. so I was right.." she mumbled as she spotted two girls and a boy and hid behind the nearest tree.

Cara looked behind her quickly, thinking she had heard something, but didn't see anything. She turned her attention back to the house.

Lee walked quietly up towards the door, and went over to the side and, making sure she wasn't seen in case anyone was inside, she pushed the door open with an loud creak and stepped aside. When nothing stirred, she peered inside and looked in. There was an old wooden table with 6 chairs, an fire-place with old black burned wood still stacked in it, an kitchen type place with cuboards surrounding it, and there where six small cots in the corner with laterns by each one. "Hmm..."Lee said as she stepped inside.

Athel waited at the forest edge with five Dark Coats. Mrs. Sadler had been detained and if everything goes as he knows they will, she will be exterminated within 24 hours for sheltering Thirds. A Dark Coat emerged from the woods, declaring, "We've searched through the woods but found nothing."
"Double your search," Athel commanded. "I don't want them disappearing of somewhere."
The Dark Coat complied and reentered the woods.
