Isobel allowed herself a sly smile and waited silently, green eyes flicking restlessly about. One almost felt sorry for the nasty surprise that boy was about to receive.

Out in the waves, in the direction of the east, floated some sort of an object.
The object looked like the figure of a young man. Facial features could not be seen from that great of distance, but already one could tell the face had a mustache, and extremely dark looking eyes.
The individual looked to be sleeping or unconscious, and it was floating on some strange looking objects that resembled a raft made of a couple of sea turtles roped together....
(Sorry about the sea turtle gag..couldn't resist mates.)

Pat raised his eyebrows, then shrugged. A crewman above shouted something about a man in the water, so he turned and dashed up the stairs, leaving a very confusing Lynna behind him. He got to the railing and stared in surprise. "Good skies! How in the world did he manage to do that?" he whispered, wondering about the turtles. "Get them all aboard," he told the nearest crewmen. "And after you take the man to the Captain, take the turtles to the kitchen - we'll eat well tonight."

Allister was re-reading his notes on sea-turtles when he heard shouts and exited exclamations...he went up to the deck and saw a man unconsious on the floor next to a couple of....sea turtles? he looked up to pat and asked "what is....this?"

Niamh was about to ask the girl's name when she heard footsteps nearby, rather lighter than a man's...she looked over at the girl and nodded

Lynna follows Pat to the railing and looks down. Upon seeing the guy in the water, she laughs softly at his 'raft'. "How ingenious..... And by the way, you never told me your name....." Her eyes glance accusingly, but in a teasing way, at Pat.....

Jacob moved to the side of the ship as a commotion broke out. He watched in confusion as an unconcious man, then a couple of sea turtles were hauled up onto the deck of the ship. He looked down at the man-he didn't recognize him.

Allister knelt besides the man and checked his pulse, and breathing...it seemed regular, he looked at jacob "where should he be put?"

Niamh saw the boy open the door slowly and signaled the girl to wait a second or two, he would be expecting something of the sort....

((I thought the sea turtles were nice touch too. lol))
The sailors carried the man below deck, putting him on one of the bunks. "I'll stay here." one of them said. The other nodded and went back upstairs.

Isobel hesitated just long enough, and as the boy was bending to place their food on the floor she swiftly snatched him by the collar, dumped the astounded child on the floor and deftly shut the door with her boot. A cocky, triumphant smile lifted the corners of her mouth.
