"Well what does it matter. Any way you'll probably escort me to that rebel camp. If I were a rebel, you'd probably make me come with you and if I were on Galias's side, you definetely make me come with you. And what if I was a spy? That presents a whole other problem. Either way, you'd lead me to your camp even if I admitted to being a spy or no. If I was a spy and I said I was a rebel, you'd lead me to your camp and you'd be helping me. And if admitted to being a spy then you'd still take me to your camp. I'd probably be killed or taken prisoner but then there is the possibility I will escape. Ropes are not really a problem," she said holding up her claws. She smiled with arrogance, thinking herself very clever. "And if I was a spy and one of the two things happened, you'd be responsible for it. Not because you took me to your camp. Oh no. I already know about Green Leaf and Cutthroat. You'd be responsible because you knew what my supposed allegiance was."

She grin broadened. She didn't like fighting pyshically but she thought herself very cunning with words, even though some might call her a fool.

"So do you still want to know where my "allegiance" is or would you just rather to take me to camp and not be responsible for it?"

Erkanis gripped his sword tighter as he waited for his opponent to attack. To help pass the time, he decided to try sparring with the soldiers here. With special magic, they managed to keep the blades from harming them but still...Erkanis had managed to bruise up his first opponent pretty badly.

Huffing, Lana stopped her excerises with the glaive. Looking over, she saw the elf Erkanis starting another spar. "Halt," she called, walking over. "I will oppose you." She gave a nod of dismisal to the other soldier before turning to him. "I wish to see your abilities and I make it a point to fight all of the soldiers. If I do not fight with them I am considered a weak woman. They do not like a female being in charge," she explained. "And since you are an elf, it is very likely I'll be using a bit of magic here and there."

She held up her glaive, ready to attack. She did not know him and she has had past experiance with soldiers. Some did not reply, they just attacked while others waited for her to be completely ready.

Erkanis nodded as he readied himself. She was armed with a glaive, a unique weapon, but one that he had never mastered himself. The difficult part was that it was a pole weapon with two sides to watch for. Emarina, who was watching him spar, had considered contacting him but decided not to.

Avalyn tilted her head to the planis, she was definatly very smart the nymph would give her that, but Avalyn was not discouraged with her cunningness with words.

"Well, that is your choice, not mine. You may come to our camp with me, or you can stay. I cannot control you, my job is only to investigate beings at our borders." Avalyn tipped her head in respect, "I give you that choice today, but If you come sneaking around the camp itself, you would either be interested in becoming one of us, spying, or planning to raid. All of those actions - as you have already made clear - are reasons tobe taken into camp and questioned. And beleive me you when I say that our leader is very therogh (sp?)."

Lana watched him. She faked thrusting out just to see how good his reflexs were. But as the scythe of the weapon went towards the right side of his belly, the other end of the pole came up, aiming for his head.

"Hmmm...You've a very good temper. I've jested some of your other comrades before and they've been very quick to attack or shoot at me. Since you are not as hostile as some of the others I've seen I will tell you that I am a neutral and I watch your camp out of pure curiousity. I am no friend of Galias, I can assure you of that."

Avalyn nodded calmly and looked the planis in the eye,

"Thank you then, I Will inform my captain of your presece, that you may be left alone. But if you would exuse me, I must be going," With that, she leapt of of the tree, taking on the form of an eagle and flew back to camp.

Erkanis saw the point approach his belly and turned sideways to dodge it. He then lifted his sword to parry the wooden end of her glaive.

When Erkanis's sword came up to block the end of the gliave, she quickly brought the blade, which was enchanted so it wouldn't cut, toward his leg hoping to make contact.

Erkanis jumped into the air, dodging the glaive. Doing a backflip, he landed about five feet away from her. He watched her as he tried to relax.

Lana's glaive came back up into starting position, she had barely moved the whole time. Her body was relaxed and ready to go but she didn't bother using her glaive when he was far away. Her right hand suddenly burst with purple flames. The fire licked her fingers in strange way. Her arm pulled back and then thrust forward like she was throwing a ball. The fire released her hand and became of sphere and sped toward the elf.

Erkanis saw the ball of fire approaching and gracefully stepped aside, his face feeling the heat of the fireball passing. He knew that while he was far from her, she would attack with magic but if he went up to close range, she could attack him with the glaive and the magic.

As he sidestepped her fire ball, she leapt forward, her glaive her held up. As her boots touched the ground her glaive swung forward, the blade approaching his head.

Erkanis parried the glaive, causing the two blades to ring.

Avalyn flew down to camp, sending out a screach as she decended, taking on her normal form.

"Your good," she said with a smirk. She leapt back, her blade sliding down his sword before releasing. The vritch stood about four feet away. The glaive was held up in defense like a spear but she did not advance.
