Miretta just sat there listening to the stories being told

Everya leaned against a tree a nd tried to listen in on the coversation, but had great difficulty.

Varya smiled. "Friend, for there is no shameful face under this hood," she said formally, lowering her the hood of her cloak.
She smirked. "Besides, if I were a foe I would've already run you through Rinaya," she said teasingly. Her tone changed, becoming more serious. "I am glad I am not the only one who survived. Are there any others?"

"Oh, you think so, do you?" Rinaya inquired, a hint of challenging in her tone, yet she broke it by smirking in turn, and planted her hands on her hips. With a shake of her head, her expression sobered, and she leaned against her spear, showing once again her rapid 'mood' changes which any who knew her were used to. "Yes..myself, Rylin, and Airion survived, and all the others were lost."

"So few," she muttered gravely, bowing her head in respect for the dead. She had expected more to survive.
"Let the dead rest and live on in our hearts and let them be an example to us, the future," Vanweya said softly, using formal words on honor for the departed. She stayed silent for a few moments before saying in a quiet voice, "Shall we join them then?"

Straightening, Rinaya nodded briefly in response to the inquiry, then, hefting her spear with a wary glance around(making sure no danger was near), began to lead the way back to the makeshift campsite, where the others were gathered and waiting.

seeing Rinaya coming back towards the camppsite Miretta said"hey who's this", pointing at Vanweya

Vanweya raised an eyebrow. "What's that to you?" she said suspiciously, her tone going slightly hostile. She looked at Rin, asking for some explanation of who these people were.

Rinaya's expression was apologetic, and she glanced to Miretta, a bit darkly. "Jumping the gun there a bit, aren't we? Let her introduce herself whenever she's comfortable."

Settling down next to her brother by the fire, Rinaya then gave Vanweya a look that said she'd explain all this later..in private.

Rothar lowered the crossbow and narrowed his eyes. These four were puissant, that much apparent. Wizards, perhaps? Or clerics? Berserker fury or not, he couldn't stand a chance. Besides, his employer had only told him so much, and ignorance invoked a certain curiousity.

The giant half-breed stood and began openly striding towards their campfire, his hands by his sides and his weapons in perspicuous view.

Everya was tired but she continued to keep watch on the campers. Despite her exhaustion she found herself picking up on parts of their conversation.
