Your blows couldnt spit a fly" This incensed the proud chaplain who fought with a fury that suprised even himself.Yet, even as these things go, Marius' arms grew weary of serving as Luthors anvil, and his strength waned after many blows were exchanged. He bled from several cuts on his arms where a spear blade had pierced his vambrace.He threw a killng thrust towards the Fallens' torso, but it was batted aside with ease, and The Chaplain was beaten to the earth by the shield of Blood Eagle." Morkai, sword in hand, strode forth, energy crackling from his fingertips. Caught suprised by this, the Fallen Luthor was hit full in the chest by another blast, flying through the air many feet.Marius, gathered his spear up and before Luthor could rise, had the tip at the Fallen knights neck. " Repent and die easy traitor" Marius said. The Blood Eagle's hard eyes softened and he assented. " I repent of my part in the Sundering. Kill me now brother knight, and free me of my memories." Marius bowed his head, said a prayer of forgiveness over the man and thrust his spear down into the mans neck. After a few seconds, the knight stopped twitching and his eyes closed. " Hail Brother Luthor, May you rest in peace." The Chaplain took the knights Helm and spear and turned to his comrades " Let us bury this man. He fought well, and died well. Its the least courtesy we owe him"

The question broke through Shiara's daydream. Pity, that. It had been such a lovely one, full of exploring the lands around Malkier with a handsome young man by her side....shaking her head, Shiara snorted. "Keep your mind on the task at hand," she admonished herself.

Looking up at Turwaithiel, Shiara mounted her black gelding, Dai'shan, and moved towards her fellow knight.
"Ready to leave when you are, fearless leader!" Shiara's grey eyes sparkled with anticipation.
