Geni woke up the next morning and felt her stomach drop. Would she get to see Luke today? Geni hurried to get dressed in a light purple riding dress. She pulled on her riding boots and went to go find her mother. Her mother was sitting in the parlour reading.
"I am going to go for a ride, Mother." Geni said, when her mom looked up.
"You and your horses, I cannot seperate you, I suppose. Have a good time." Her mother dismissed her after surveying her for a moment. Geni grinned and ran out to the carriage. The ride there seemed to take forever.
When they finally did arrive at the stables, she felt butterflies erupt in her stomach.

Luke awoke that morning, wondering if Lady Geni would be going for a ride that day or if she was still mad at him about what he said to her. He sighed as he went to the stables to await Lady Nicole. He was supposed to go and ride with her today.

Nicole dressed for the day silently so not to wake her husband. she walked to the stables pulling on her riding gloves. she went to her Mares stall door and gave her mare a treat. " luke there you are, I will be riding my mare today" she said spotting luke. she saw Geni arrive and smiled "right on time" she sighed.

Luke nodded and went to prepare Nicole's mare, so he didn't see Lady Geni arrive. He did hear her, though, say "Right on time." Right on time? Luke thought. What's right on time?

Geni's heart stopped. Luke? Did she really say Luke? She peered into Nicole's horses stall and saw the shaggy black haired and blue eyed person staring back at her and Geni grinned, "That would be lovely."

" I hardly ever let the other stable hands saddle my mare they seem to pinch her sides and puts her in a foul mood but not luke she likes luke and has every reason to like him..." she said quietly " thats what i like about horses they don't care what family you are born to they like you regardless!" Luke glanced up and blushed a deep red when he saw Lady Geni. "Of course, Lady." He said, nodding his head slightly before saddling her horse as well. He lead both horses out to the two ladies. "Here are your mares, lady Nicole and Lady Geni." He said, smiling.
