OOC// Hello people! Ok, I am newish to AU, so please bear with me, as I am not customed with role-playing on this website.
May I please join as a made-up character that is on Devil's Lightning?
Ok, and some questions...
1. I read as far as the second page, so could someone give me a brief summary of what has happened so far?
2. Is this a fine form for out of character, or should I do brackets?

the three siblings slept peacfully that night, well as peaceful as they could be with all the noise. it seems as if this port never slept, with ships coming in and out and people drinking and gambling.
but none the less they slept.
everything seemed to be so sweet their dreams of adventure, them finally breaking away from their parents, but all that was soon to end.
someone burst in the room of the three siblings.

A young female around the age of 19, with long wavy black hair, stood, her dark brown eyes looking around the room. She stood at 5'5", clad in a fancy corset-type shirt, and black pants and lace-up boots. She was your typical pirate, though not really. She was a crew member on Captain Benjamin's ship, Devil's Lightning. Her name was Jupiter Roderigo. Her right tan hand gripped her rapier. She looked around the room that her captain had barged into, as well as some crew members. Her stance was easy, and she waited for instructions from Benjamin, knowing that he would probably want to be the one to grab the children.

Emily woke up as they opened the door but she did not let them know she was awake. she slowly grabed her shiv from under her pillow. hoping they hadnt noticed. she pretended to turn over in her sleep and she kicked mary alerting her.
