Fred shot a scathing look at Sydney and Hermione. "Children sometimes have trouble deciphering reality from wishful imaginings," he said loftily to Lee Jordan, who was sitting nearby. Lee nodded in agreement. Noticing that other students were beginning to leave the Hall, Fred stood and slung his bag over his shoulder. "Transformation next," he groaned to Lee - after looking to make sure the strict professor was nowhere nearby. "Apparently we're going to be changing quills into birds again. I swapped Tess's one - you know she can never get something right - and put it in Emily's bag. You should've heard her squeal when she went to write!" Both laughing, they left the Great Hall.

Ophelia walked away from the Ravenclaw table to the next lesson; she neatly stacked her books under one arm and slung her schoolbag about her cloaked shoulders. She supposed that this evening might possibly be fun with the new schools arriving. It was getting everyone talking.

She laughed at Fred's comment and shook her head, "Maybe if you grew up then you would not hear such things." She giggled and stuck out her tongue jokingly. "Well I'm off to Defense, see y'all later!" She called back over her shoulder, her southern twang ringing at the end of the sentence, even if she could not hear it herself.

Hermione slighty smiled at what Fred said, starting to pick up her books. "We should go" she said to Ron and Harry "or we'll be late to the next lesson". And she didn't want to be late.

Ellie smiled at Phoebe as she stood up and walked out of the Great Hall. She took her bag too and walked until the Gryffindor table.
"ehi Sydney" she said "have you finished? I thought we could do a walk before the next lesson"

She guzzled the last of her tea and nodded, "Yes indeed, mam. Let's go!" Sydney slung her messenger bag over her shoulder and grabbed her friends arm, "Hurray for class." She said dryly, twirling a finger in the air.

She let down her hair once more, happy that it had not gotten anything in it. Grabbing her reading glasses from her pocket she placed them in their proper spot on her nose, "Alright, now I'm really ready."

Ellie laughted with Sydney while they walked out of the Great Hall.
"I saw you were talking with one of the Weasley twins" she said after a while, with an allusive note in her voice "Was him George?"

She blinked and started blush furiously, "No, it was not," she said in a squeaking voice. "Stop it, now I'm blushing and it'll take forever for my color to go back to normal." Sydney laughed.

Unaware of the intriguing discussion taking place in his absence, Fred tolerated McGonagall's class by secretly taking orders from fellow classmates for his and George's flourishing joke shop enterprise. The treats were particularly popular, and later on in the day saw him surreptitiously passing the sweets around. Professor Binns was not amused, for some odd reason, at the random people spouting feathers during his class.

Joking and laughing as he walked out of Charms class, Fred caught sight of something out of the window. "Oy, what was that?" he said to George and Lee, nearby. The three rushed over to look. A remarkable carriage had entered the Hogwarts grounds. A carriage in itself was not that interesting, but the size, color, and fact that it had been flown in by winged horses certainly did add something. Fred watched in amazement as the carriage settled lightly down near the entrance to the school. "C'mon, let's go check it out!"

Ophelia walked out of Transfiguration class. She could see there was some excitement going on, people staring out of windows and pointing. She caught sight of the Weasely twins rushing off to probably go and look at the spectacle, whatever it was. She neatly pushed her way through the throng of students and looked out of the window.

"What's happening?" Hermione joined the little group of Gryffindor that was looking out of the window "Are the other schools arrived?" she asked to Fred, who was standing next to her but, being taller, could see out of the window.

Ophelia looked over at Hermione and the rest of the Gryffindors. As the only Ravenclaw in the group, she felt it only necessary to take an authorative sort of tone. "It's most likely the first of the other schools," she said certainly.

"And which school would that be?" Ellie asked, joining the group where she saw Ophelia and some Gryffindors "Do you know which one it is?"

She walked after Ellie, her blue eyes fixed on the flying horses, "Beau Batons? Maybe." She said curiously, her lips pursed trying to remember the name. She clutched her books to her chest and jumped up to get a better view, using Ellie's shoulders to help, "Stay still, lovee." Sydney said with a laugh.

"Well, we'll only meet them at dinner, so it's best everyone settles down," Ophelia announced with a dismissive sigh. Flicking back her blonde hair, she pushed out of the throng of students.
