Cyznul appreciated the help of another priestess, but he had no intention of letting a female run this mission. The witnesses gathered around the Bazaar, some fearfully, others mockingly. He fried those who got too close with a quick spell. He bowed to Kira.

"Mighty priestess, I am at your command." He exchanged a quick glance with Xarw.

Cyznul bowed again and smirked triumphantly at Xarw behind Kira's back.

I suggest we teleport ourselves to Braeryn and lie low for a while, he signed. The matron mothers aren't likely to forget this one. We'll be fortunate if the ruling council doesn't march up to our doorsteps in a tenday. He gestured at his dimensional door.

"Shall we?"

Kira shrugs. "Yes, you two run along, I've got a place to check on....." Her grin is as nasty as can be. "I'll meet you in two hours..... Don't worry, I'll find you...." With a grin, she disappears into a column of flames and is gone.....

Cyznul grinned and grabbed Xarw's shoulder before he could disappear through the door. "Lolth has served Cyreste well before," he said quietly. "And when her purpose is complete, we will simply have to crush the spider."

Stepping out through the dimensional door behind Xarw, Cyznul had only to sniff to recognize Braeryn. He had been through the Stenchstreets only once or twice this decade, mainly for killing sport. As Master of Sorcere he made a point to avoid slums. A parade of bugbears lumbered past, casting highly suspicious looks at the drow. Cyznul straightened his piwafwi and proceeded towards a tavern where he could catch up on news.
