((Hmm...I was off doing various things that need be done in preparation for school starting, when suddenly I felt a discreet voice suggesting that I should get back over here Apologies, mates, for the delay. I've been a bit stressed trying to get stuff ready for the school year and...yeah. Shouldn't happen again...I think ))

Gibbs smiled nervously. "Now, let's not be too hasty 'bout this," he interrupted quickly. "There'd be no sense in goin' to meet this cap'n unprepared, especially if we hadn't had another drink fer luck. In fact, I think I'll be gettin' us another round right now..." Before anyone could protest, he was up and walking over to the bar.
In no time at all, he had his hands full with mugs and was making his way carefully back to the table. He'd almost made it when he suddenly felt himself getting flung up against a wall, spilling the drinks in the process. "Waste o' perfectly good drinks..." he muttered before looking down to see a sharp knife resting against his neck. Glancing up to see who held the knife, he found himself face-to-face with a scowling pirate. "Ah...how can I be of service to ye?" he finally asked with a strained smile.

"You are Joshamee Gibbs?" the stranger asked quietly, a hint of an Italian accent evident in his stern tone.

"S'what my mother -bless 'er soul- named me, aye," Gibbs replied uncertainly. "Unless, o' course, there be somethin' very, very bad awaitin' a certain Joshamee Gibbs, in which case I'm afraid I can't-"

"I was told you know every pirate that comes into this town."

"Well, I s'pose I'm rather knowledgeable in that area, aye, but-"

"You know where I might find one Captain Jack Sparrow?"

Gibbs glanced fleetingly toward the table where Jack sat. "Well, Tortuga's a rather large town, an' it's rather hard to know-"

"That didn't answer my question," the pirate interrupted coolly, moving the knife ever-so-slightly closer to Gibbs' neck.

Swallowing nervously, Gibbs reluctantly nodded. "...Aye," he muttered. "Jack! This fine gentleman be wantin' a word with ye!"

"Well, he looks about as friendly as a bulldog with it's head in a vice." Eizabeth muttered, under her breath.

((Okay, so sorry, mates! This week we've been doing all-morning practices for band to get ready for the school year, plus I'm Drum Captain, section leader, and one of the head officers for the whole band, so I have quite a bit more to do. When I'm not in band or practicing the 10 songs and 10 cadences we're getting ready for football season, I'm writing percussion parts for some of our songs that didn't come with them, composing new candences for the drum line to play, figuring out how to teach our formations to the rest of my section, maintaining the official Band website, and designing our t-shirt for the year. So basically, it's been nothing short of chaos the last few days. Thanks so much for bearing with me! ))

Sarnas roughly released Gibbs and stared down at the shorter pirate in front of him. "Jack Sparrow, I presume?" Without waiting for an answer, he continued. "You're a rather difficult man to track down, Captain. I've been needin' to speak with you for some time now. What say we step into my office, hmm?" he offered, grabbing Jack by the arm and leading him over to an occupied table in the corner. Glaring at its occupants, Sarnas soon found the table in question empty and casually sat down in one of the chairs.
