Latanya wondered what the king could possibly want with her.

Exasperated but counseling patience nonetheless, Mordev began heading out of the study hall, beckoning for them to follow.

Lol, Jimmy--paranoid bodyguard? I hadn't expected that view of him...
----
Aivon managed to stay between Rhaeryn and the others as they followed Mordev out of the chamber, though the girl was rather impatient and curious by now.
"So you know something of the Ignae Kiani, then?" he asked the supposed King's-man. It was far more likely that the fellow was just someone who had overheard everything and was attempting to take advantage of it for his own benefit.

[I was posting from Mordev's point of view and his perspective is a bit discriminating ]
"Indeed I do," Mordev replied laconically. He led them out into the marketplace, then turned a corner and ushered the others into an abandoned warehouse. He did a cursory check of the perimeter first before entering himself.
He turned back to the warrior. "So you have already discovered your ward's secrets," he said, nodding at Rhaeryn.

"Secret," corrected Rhaeryn loftily. "Singular. Just the one."

I missed alot, wow, I'm kinda confuzed, is everyone but Sielio in the same room? where is said room? and how fast would it be within reason that Sielio could get to/find said room? oh, and Jimmy, I was thinking that mabey Sielio knew about the Kiani, and that Mordev went to "stop Genrik" but he didn't know that Mordev went to find the Kiani.
Well, I'm gonna wait for some answers befor I post so...

Everyone except Sielio and Valera's character is in one room, which is in Rhiosim, I believe. As to how long it would take Sielio to get there, I have no idea.
----
Aivon ignored Rhaeryn, for once. "Aye, we have," he replied to Mordev's question.
"How can we be certain that you are not some person trying to sway the Kiani to meet your own needs, instead of being a King's-man?" Aivon asked. With somewhat of a mental sigh, he realized that if it came down to it, he couldn't get Rhaeryn to safety and leave the others to some grim fate--he'd have to get them all to safety. Ah, me and my conscience he moaned in his head, still focusing outwardly on Mordev.

[if Sielio had mages had his disposal, fast enough]
"You can't," Mordev answered both bluntly and truthfully. He retaliated to the man's focused gaze with a cool stare of his own. "What do I know of the Kiani?" He paused, then continued relentlessly, "I know that all of you are related by blood to each other, and to none other than Grenik. I know that you must first discover your abilities before you can utilize them to their full advantage, and that can only be achieved by rigorous training in Ikrean's capital."

((Just a note, LDM (((YES! LDM HAS HER NAME BACK! ))) The Kiani will eventually learn to control their powers naturaly, not that this is the fastest, or most convinient route, but the use of the powers becomes natural in about 2 or 3 months. ))
Suakii, curious, followed the bodyguard, his ward, and the other man, around the small library, making sure she was not seen. Listening to all of what they were saying, she was surprised when they started speaking of the Ignea Kiani. Yes, she had heard of them, but she didn't know that anyone here would have extencive knowlege on them. Eager that she might find some answers she listened intently as she quietly persued the small group.

Basically everyone but Sielio and Valera's character is in a warehouse-sort-of-thing, where Mordev (LDM's awesome character) is going to explain the whole deal with the Kiani. I think your character is the only Kiani who hasn't discovered her power, right?
SG, I was under the impression that everyone had accompanied Mordev, and by that I don't mean secretly following, lol.
----
Aivon seethed, but he knew that Mordev or whoever he was was right. There was no way he could know for sure.
"What," he began slowly, "is included in the phrase 'rigorous training'?"
If it was anything that could harm Rhaeryn, he would have an awful time watching her try it if there wasn't any way he could help. Wait a minute! He shook his head fiercely, earning odd looks from the others. He and Rhaeryn could hardly just walking away from her parents--they would be overcome with worry. They might even believe that he kidnapped her, and send Damien or Jorg after him. He was good, but he wasn't the equal of either.
Oh, light, he thought. We've obviously got to do something now that we know of her ability.

[perhaps training would increase their potential? there has to be a way for them to all come together]
Mordev shook his head. "I know little. Our professional mages and priests see to the matter; I am only a humble mercenary."
He paused before, as if reading Aivon's thoughts, added, "Messengers have been dispatched to the families of the respective Kiani. They are told that you are in capable hands. The less who know about your powers, the better."

((Oh... Sorry. I'll fix that. ))
Suakii strode behind the girl, whom she presumed to be the Kiani being spoke of, and looked to each person as he spoke. This was interesting... Was she an Ignae Kiani? And if she was, that meant that this girl was her sister... But how? She only had one sister, and this young girl was obviously wealthy, evedent by her cloths, and the body guard type gaurdian that followed her everywhere. And kin to Grenik? The enemy of the king? Now that would put a black mark on her record, for most who cared.

"It doesn't matter, does it?" interjected Rhaeryn, gazing at Mordev. "Somehow I think my parents would have quite a problem with 'rigorous training', no matter how you phrased it." She looked a little envious, though, as if she might like to try it anyway.

Latanya found herself agreeing with Rhaeryn.

(I'll attempt to jump in here. Is it all right if I was there all along and I have figured out my power? Please correct me if I'm wrong in some form or another)
Orono lounged against the wall, listening intently. He didn't spend much time with his parents, and he doubted they would worry too much for him. He was intrigued eversince the first hint of his power revealed itslef, and he eagerly tried to gain control. He had done so a little, but by what Mordev was saying he would be able to do so much more.
