Norrington entered the cabin and bowed low before Lord Beckett. The room was richly decorated demonstrating Becket´s high position in an impressing way. "I heard that you ordered Davy Jones to destroy Tortuga. Is there anything you want me to do? " Norrington´s
voice sounded confident but in fact he didn´t trust Beckett any more than Jack. In his own interest he was bound to obey Beckett´s orders but he wasn´t loyal to him. Actually he had never been loyal to anyone besides himself, except maybe to Elizabeth... Norrington quickly repressed this irritating thoughts and looked up to take Becket´s order .
