Hythraii contiuned to ride and decided to go to the shelther. He figured that since he made it rain, the gods and goddesses would want to hide somewhere.

Nolgos could have sworn that he had been quiet and that she hadn`t even look back once to check, if anyone was following her yet still she somehow knew. Deciding that there was no more reason to hide Nolgos approached her, he stopped at a safe distance and tried to remember what god might fit the woman appearance.

"I must thank you for healing my patients or well they are no longer my patients as they can certainly get by their own with their wounds healed. But an old sage like myself who is often turned to do the impossible is now confused by the power he has witnessed.

Taking a brave guess, you must be Estelle?"

Nolgos asked with slight uncertainty in his voice, but his eyes were slightly narrowed as he was still suspicious. He knew of the gods, their area of influence and their supposed tasks so it wasn`t too hard to take a quite certain stab in the dark.

"You are well versed sage." Estelle remarked with a slight smile. "You are correct in your assumption." She studied the man who regarded her with suspicion. "What is your name mortal, and tell me what do you know of Asmundr?" she asked.

Hythraii loved that the rain had grown to it's natrual sorces, but he wanted it to rain a little harder. So, he made it rain just a little bit harder, and made it natural rain water, instead of using his own touch that he us with his enemies. Acid rain.

His horse quickly reached the shelter and Hythraii unmounted, still completely dry in his "air bubble." He walked in, looking around for anybody he knew.

Nolgos couldn`t help smirking widely as his assumption was not wrong and that he was at least getting a chance to chat with the goddess instead of being forced to forget.

"The name is Nolgos, I consider myself a healer and others might call me a wise man all tough I am far from it, I have simply spent too much time with books.... and what do I know of Asmundr? He is the oldest and highest of your the gods, your kin... but why should you who knows him personally ask this of me, a human being?"

Nolgos asked suspiciously as he was not fully aware of the situation.

Kena was frowning at the map, absorbed in her own thoughts. She shifted its position with a flick of her wrist. The storm could be seen, a diminutive maelstrom of charcoal grey cloud and occasional flashes of lightning, hovering directly over Havrynieh. She leaned back, still observing it, and now tapping her lips thoughtfully with one slender finger. Coincidence or no? Asmundr was capable of conjuring such a storm...and also capable of giving it less than harmless qualities.

Kena looked up, words on her lips - but they died there. Never mind. If her suspicion was wrong, none of them needed to be bothered with it. She's find out herself.

"Devarion" he gave nod. With the God of Night he was on better terms than with the other gods, he made up his mind. "I hope i was not stopping you moveing to the main rooms Devarion, the rain seems to have got worse but i'm sure we can make a quick dash." he said compleatly ignoreing the two goddesses.

"Good, so you do have understanding of the heavenly scrolls." she replied. "But know this, Asmundr has betrayed both god and human alike-the immortal and the mortal. He has remained dormant for some years, but now his power has reawakened. The Balance that controls life has been shattered and chaos has ensued. Chaos, that I alone can not prevent." She glanced at the sage once more. "A war is brewing. It will only be a matter of time." She then turned in the direction of the forest. "Return home, sage. Tend to your people. I do not know when I shall pass this way again."

Aranthor looked up from the map when Azra entered. "Thought you might come."

Kena looked up from where she still examined the magical map, sandal knit together in a makeshift but hopefully somewhat sturdy manner. She paused a moment before answering. "Eydis and Luriar aren't yet here...nor Estelle. Hythraii's arrived."

Standing in one fluid motion, an action not entirely reminiscent of the mortal world as was the rest of her appearance, Kena rolled the now blank map and slid it back into her satchel. "Aye, let's go."

Upon stepping outside, rain deluged the foursome in almost alarming volumes. Kena paused only to search the sky, search for some clue - but the others were ahead, and she was getting wet very rapidly. "Asmundr, curse you, what are you up to?" she muttered, and followed.

Nolgos listened to her words in shock and confusion, for a mortal who knew of the gods this all was shocking. So one betrayed the others for power? It seemed that not even the gods were as dedicated to their cause as he had thought or loyal to each others. The last words she said to him were not enough, he wasn`t just going to sit and wait as chaos might ensue. He wanted to take part, do something to prevent it, call it devotion to protect the weak and the innocent.

"Wait, you can`t just say that to me and leave! Go back to your village and tend to your patients? Is that your advice? Do you think I can only do that? I can do much more, I might be a mere human, but there must be something I can do to aid you. Just tell me and I will do it."

Nolgos demanded with a slightly angered voice, not caring whether she was a goddess or not. He was now convinced of it all, the appearance of the bandits, all the bloodshed and misery increasing, this was all due to what happened with the gods. He might be old and frail, but not clueless or weak.

(So far all the gods/goddesses have been doing their own things, but now everyone is basically heading back to the shelter on the edges of the Havrynieh that they share.)

The storm that was beginning to rage did not have the qualities of Hythraii's usual work. It was more fierce, more dangerous, but Eydis was not thinking about that at the moment. In fact the booming thunder and intimidating bolts of lightning suited her mood at that time.

She crossed her arms under her breasts and stalked silently toward the dieties' shelter. A furious scowl was etched on her face. The more and more she thought about Asmundr tampering with her plants and animals, the angrier she got. She wasn't surprised, no not surprised in the least, but it still bothered her no less.

After a moment, she slowed, realizing that her fury was no excuse to walk like a madwoman. Her pace became more natural, and she walked the rest of the way to the shelter by Luriar, although she was silently seething.

Upon reaching the shelter, she saw that Devarion, Kena, Aranthor, Azra, and Hythraii were all already there. They looked to be heading up to the main room, the room that they used for all their meetings. "Good morning," Eydis mumbled to them, though she was sure that each of them could tell by her tone that she thought the morning was anything but good.

"Seeing as how you are all headed up to the meeting room," she continued, "I suppose there is no need to say that we all need to talk."

"No indeed," said Kena, stopping. "I was on the verge of proposing it."

She glanced upwards, as lightning crackled across the sky and stepped closer to Eydis to say in an undertone, "Do...do you not see Asmundr at work? This is not one of Hythraii's storms, far from it."

Thought of the broken sandal still disturbed Kena slightly, though until now she could not think why. Was that Asmundr too? Had the time finally come - was he descending to wreak his destruction?

They must talk, indeed. Without waiting for an answer Kena turned to follow the others, now thoroghly drenched. "It's unnatural," she muttered, troubled.

Aranthor thought hard, "It just doesn't make sence..." she said troubled by these problems, How could Asmundr get strong enough to banish us from to the mortal world anyway?

"The storm isn't all of it," Eydis said, her face twisting with anger, "This morning, I have found it much much harder to communicate with my animals. And when I touched one of my willows, I sensed a sort of discord within it, as if it was fighting something within itself."

As she spoke, Eydis walked the rest of the way into the meeting room. Inside the room was a large table with ten chairs, one for each of the dieties, surrounding it. She moved to her rightful place and sat.

She leaned forward and rested her chin in her hand as she thought. They still didn't have an answer as to how Asmundr had gotten enough power to banish them to live with the mortals weeks before. He had to have been plotting for a long time before in order to have gained all that power.

And none of them had ever suspected it. It made her furious with herself that she hadn't seen it coming. They had all trusted Asmundr with all their hearts and minds. She made a disgusted face. And to think, I thought of him as a father!
