"Shadow wha...? she was cut off when she looked up to see three shadow creatures fly tward them. Kendra to a step back, and saw som gray fur in a bush behind Elly. She had to bite her lip to stop from screaming.
Bronzeclaw snarled when the dwarf warned them of the shadow demons. He took a defensive stance infront of the two humans.
"Figured the vampiress would send her minions! Can hide anything from her these days," he growled...

Leama went for her bow as she drew and aimed for one of the shadow demons. They were so bloody fast, it was near impossible to target them.

Elly, completely unaware of anything behind her, looked up at the sinister shadows with wide eyes and edged closer to Bronzeclaw, hugging herself against the rapidly cooling weather. She caught sight of a pair of evilly red lidless eyes and bit back a scream, crouching down and wrapping her arms tightly around herself.

Leama's arrow passed through the shadow demon, but not without drawing an inhuman keen of pain. The apparitions came on all the more quickly.
Mrug felt icy, dark talons stab at his entire body as he lifted his axe and made a desperate swing. "Come on, ye bloody mongrels!" he roared, hacking frenetically.

Kendra started running after the horses. She had caught Laddy a few yard from the door way, Elly's horse had already gone through. She went through Laddy's saddle bag and finally found what she wanted... her pocket knife.
Letting Laddy go she ran back to the group, and opened her pocket knife...

((I introduced Bronzeclaw. Anduril's character is behind Elly, and is trying to kill Elly and Kendra. The Vampiress(LDM) has sent a few shadow demons to capture Elly and Kendra. And their horses have ran home, and we're all just trying to fight away the shadow demons.... there...))

Karara leaped into the air, slashing at the shadowy creatures with huge claws, roaring loudly, teeth beared. To an onlooker, she would probably look as if she had gone mad, slashing, jumping, roaring. She had had very bad encounters with these horrible creatures, and didn't favor the idea of letting the vampiress know of these girls. Karara stopped for a moment and turned to Bronzeclaw and Brownfeather.
"Get Elly and Kendra out of here! I'll catch up to you later, they need to get moving, NOW!"

The shadow demons shrieked and veered higher, out of the enraged lioness's range. Regrouping, they dove straight for Kendra, their icy talons raking across the human girl's forearm and beginning to bear her away.
"NOT IF I CAN HELP IT!" Mrug bellowed, wading in and hacking furiously.

Elly screamed and, grabbing hold of the terrifyingly strong talons, attempted vainly to dislodge them from Kendra. She threw an arm over her head to shield an attack on herself.

Karara growled and leapt at the shadow demon that was occupied attacking Elly, siezing it in her mouth and shaking it to death, then went back to guarding herself from their long talons.

Kendra screamed in pain as one grabbed her forearm. She took her knife and cut it, cutting off its arm, and ripped the tallon that was sill on her arm, off of her.
"C'mon, Elly! We gotta go!" she said to her friend...
