Wolfe nodded as Adam spoke. "Excellent work," he murmured. "All right, let's get moving." He grabbed his M16 and the backpack holding his laptop and proceeded to break camp.

Erin darted back to her tent and within two or three minutes was completely packed, along with the paraphernalia she thought she'd need for the hike. "Adam?" she called, emerging, "do you have my notebook?"

Andy heard wat they were saying, and started to pack as well, since he had virtually gotten nothing out the night before except fro his tent and sleep gear, he packed fairly quickly. He couldn't match army speed, but he was pretty quick about it. Life on the move for the past 5 years does that to a man. He put his sniper rifle in a sling on the left shoulder, his Urban Sniper in his jacket, and his Desert Eagle Magnum in a holster clipped to his belt. He wasn't goign to be rammed into by a rhino again today. he was still sore from the last rhino charge. (metaphor btw...lol)

He mounted his bike, and asked, " when are we going? if you want, i'll take a tour of the jungle, this bike's easier to maneuverthan those humvees."

Anna Marie quickly packed her pillow and sleeping bag, and put a headband on, to keep her hair out of her face. She looked toward the others, leaning on the door of her Humvee.

Wolfe loaded their gear onto the humvee. He returned to Andy's side and snatched out a small notebook. "We are here." He scratched out an X on the paper, followed by a hasty scribble of the nearby terrain. "Sparrow and Hawk figured out the village to be here." He marked another X. "A scout would be helpful, but stay close to our position."

He clapped Andy on the shoulder by way of thanks and climbed into the humvee.

Adam handed the notebook back to Erin, then headed for his tent. He grabbed the few items he had unpacked the night before, stuffed them into his bag, and was ready to go.

"Thanks," said Erin, and tucked it into her backpack. She slung said backpack into the back of her Humvee and climbed in, turning on the AC almost immediately - it looked like turning into a scorcher of a day. "Shade?" she called, poking her head out. "You coming?"

"Hop in, then," said Erin, shutting the door. She switched on her radio and looked ahead of her, where Wolfe was in his own vehicle. "Hunter, this is Sparrow - I assume we're heading for the first village on the map. Would you like me to lead? Over."

Andy ignored them and hopped onto his bike. Making sure he had his GPS and the walkietalkie, he vroomed off, following the directions Hunter had given him. loosening his left hand from the grip, he reached inside his jacket and put his fingers around the Urban Sniper. He was ready for more natives.

far away he saw strange chanting and wailing figures in the distance.
The volume of the wailing and chanting was so great that, even from this distance, Andy could hear them,
he wished he couldn't. he actually wished he had one of those bikes that made a heck of a lot of noise, not this custom made silent one...

"Roger that, Sparrow," Wolfe replied, pulling his humvee aside to let Erin's pass it. He raised the radio once more to his mouth. "Leopard, this is Hunter. Proceed with caution. Repeat - Proceed with caution. Remember the natives we've already seen. Out."

Erin pulled ahead of the rest and checked her map, making sure she was going in the approximate right direction. She glanced at it a few more times, but after that found it redundant - Erin had an extremely photographic memory. "Approaching village,Hunter," she reported into her radio, "There may be hostile natives - shall we proceed on foot?"

Adam, from the back of the Humvee he was riding in, joined in the conversation. "I would recommend going in on foot, sir. We don't know how the natives would react to the vehicles-most likely they would scare them.

Shade sat in the back, her hand always on her pistol and listened into the silent night...a very silent night.

"Good idea," Wolfe conceded, braking his humvee. In the half-dawn light, the silhouettes of the dancing and chanting natives cast writhing shadows in the surrounding jungle. He loaded his M16 and thought to bring a few stun grenades along. As he quietly climbed out of the jeep, he whispered into his radio, "Leopard, this is Hunter. What do you see?"

Shade heard movement towards the left of her and reached for her walkie-talkie. "Hunter, this is Falcon, over. Movement towards the left of me. Request permission to go check it out, sir. Over."
