Aiden jumped up when he heard the glass break. "What the-?" he stood up from the couch where he was watching tv to peer out the windows.

Skylarh laughed, "I suppose we were."

Picking up the phone, Sky dialed home and waited for her mother to pick up. After a moment of explaining, she agreed and told Sky to call when the movie was over and she would pick her up.

"Alright, we're all good!" said Sky, once again all giggly. "So who's got the popcorn?"

"That's perfect," Natalie announced, "and I will get the popcorn." Once Natalie walked into the pantry to recover the popcorn, Adara realized that she had forgot to ask her sister something.

"Sis," Adara asked cutely.
"Yes?" Natalie responded, grabbing the popcorn and walking over to the oven.
"Um.." Adara continued, "Sky is going to go to the beach next week. May we go with her?"
"Dare," Natalie sighed, "You are going to be staying with Mrs. Patterson. You remember that I have a business trip that I am going to have to leave tommorrow for."
"Yes," Adara complied, "but, I was thinking that I could stay with Sky instead of Mrs. Patterson."
Natalie stared down at her sister as if to recover the truth from Adara. "She's nicer," Adara smiled. Natalie continued staring. "Her parents will be there," Adara quietly squeeling, feeling belittled.

"That is the answer I was looking for," Natalie spoke to Adara and then sought the truth out of Skylarh, "Is that true?"

"Yep, sure 'nuff is!" said Skylarh, grinning ear to ear. "I had really hoped Adara could come with us... A bunch of us will be staying at my parents' beach house."

Unsure of what to do, Sky tried her best to smile sweetly and started to play with her hair. She suddenly turned round, "Did either of you hear something?"

(Nope.. Pippin. Natalie has too much on her mind, and Adara is too excited about movie night.)

"Alright," Natalie consented, "If it is alright with Skylarh's parents, it is alright with me."

Adara, comfortable with that answer and sure it will come to her favor with Sky's parents, let out a winner's "yes!" (complete with the arm movements). Grabbing a handful of popcorn, Adara dashed off to her room to put on her movie jammies, as was tradition with her and movie night.

Natalie shook her head, "Bundle full of energy." Looking over to Skylarh, Natalie finally realized that Skylarh had said something, "Oh, it was probably just some neighborly kid. Would your parents allow Dare to stay with you at the beach house?"

Adara ran into her room and right to the closet. She was so excited that she didn't realize the man on her bed sleeping. With a quick change, Adara walked over to the mirror and started to mock pirate accents when she noticed something on her bed from the reflection. Turning around, Adara saw that it was the pirate from the movie. Squeeling inside, Adara ran up to him and took his hat. Running out, Adara met up with Natalie and Sky exclaiming, "Look! I have a pirate hat!"

Louy finnished packing, and paced around, waiting for her dad to get home. She was to leave tomorrow on a airplane to her cousins for a month. But what was she to do with the little yellow man named Cheese? She wondered how it got there in the first place...

"What the?" She squealed looking into what appeared to be a floating orb. But the orb lifted to show the face of a handsome man.
"Oh my gaw...Harry Potter?" Emmy asked her mouth fell open in awe.

Aiden moved away from the window, feeling distinctly uneasy. A cold breeze ran through the room. "Stupid air conditioner." Aiden muttered and walked over to see if something was wrong with it.

Skylarh shot a glance at Natalie, "Adara, where'd you get that?"

She eyed the hat suspiciously, thinking it looked far, far too familiar. Then it hit her.

Jumping up and down with either excitement or fear, most likely both, she insisted that Adara go and put the hat back where she'd found it.

"I like the hat," Adara grunted at Skylarh, holding in further down on her head. Natalie looked over at Adara. To Natalie, the hat seemed familiar, but, unlike Skylarh, she could not place it anywhere. Unaware of the character invasion, Natalie turned to Sky and told her, "I probably got it for her, or a friend bought it for her at school. I know they sell these things in stores everywhere. There shouldn't be much reason to fret." Natalie had finished making the popcorn and lead everyone out to the couch. Soon Pirates was showing. Adara sat in front of the couch. Natalie on the couch, with Skylarh. Adara still wore the hat in complete disobedience to Sky.

Sky looked worried, but at her pop corn in silence while watching the movie. There was something amiss in the house. But if it was a chair out of place or someone else, she couldn't tell. Skylarh started to squirm, as if she was being watched by someone.

Frowning, she started to allow her gaze to wander about, as if to find something to satisfy ther burning curiosity inside her. She laughed. Curiosity. She wanted to go and search the house because she wanted to do it. Shaking her head, Sky decided she had spent a little too much time with Adara; she was starting to associate things with movies!
