At first Firis had only shrugged, not looking from where she stared into the fire to even glance at Mirrim. The other young woman almost thought her apathetic until a flicker of the strangely colored flames showed her unshed tears in Firis's eyes, threatening to spill.
Mirrim realized she had absolutely no idea what to say. She sent a burst of confusion through her and Twygrin's mental link and received only a calm prodding in return.
"I...never knew them," she said into the quiet, toying with a fold of her shirt. "They must have truly been heroes to do what they did."
The tears were not quite unshed. Mirrim stared into the fire as well while Firis blinked them away.

Airithnu stood near the entrance of the cave and sighed heavily. She was unsure what to do, now that the introduction and the beginning of there journey, by putting their magic into the eggs, was over. Airithnu finally simply sat down and shut her eyes, leaning against the mouth of the cave.

Sorcha nodded in answer to Emmeline's question. "I'll feel better the sooner we get away from this place. I still feel like I'm too close to the Russian Rangers." She shook her head. "It's just a feeling, but I still want to be away from here."

Tiernan sat, his legs folded underneath him and pulled both Px4's from their holsters. Then he pulled a cloth from his pocket and put it on the ground to prevent the pistols from colecting any dust once he started cleaning them. Which is exactly what he did, stripping down the entire pistol, cleaning each peice, and replacing it.
Then he checked his extra clips, making sure they were full. Satisfied that his Px4 Storms were in good working condition; he replaced them and their extra clips in their respective places.

Adilya sighed; she had already cleaned her weapons on the way over here, and she know found herself positively bored with nothing to do but sit, stare, and wait.
Looking over at Rena, Adilya's heart went out to her. Walking over, she looked down at Rena and asked, "Could I be of any assistance?"
