Edward slowly walked into the kitchen, which had changed alot since his last visit. He examined every towel, toaster, dirty dish, the sink, the curtains, the cabinets and even the old food stains on the counter. He then lifted his eyes and caught a glance from Rachel's mother. He stared at her, and you would think he would've recognized her, but all he did was stare for a few more moments before he said, "Hi..." in a quite small voice.

Rachel smiled more to Edward and leaned against the counter. "Is there anything you would like to eat, Edward? I can make you something..." She started getting out bread and pb and j. "I'm starved."

Kim smiled softly as Edward said hi. It almost felt like a sword stabbed her heart, but she whispered, "Hi, Edward. It's a pleasure to meet you." She extended her hand and made the mistake of raising her face to look at him.

Edward stared back into the face of Rachel's mother. His mind immediately started showing him flashbacks in just a few seconds, but to Edward, it seemed as if they were lasting for more than an hour. He was caught up in the moment so much that he lifted his scissorhand to shake her extended hand back, which was a mistake, and his scissorhands quickly sliced into her hand.

"Ah!" cried Kim, clutching her hand. There was a deep cut, reminding her of......her mind drifted off in memories. She shook her head and went up to the bathroom for bandages.

"Ed...ward?" She quickly looked over her shoulders and saw Edward cut her mother's hand. "Oh... no." She quickly grabbed her mother some towels and covered her hands up. "Here you go." She looked to Edward, and noticed him staring at her mother. She sighed sadly. "I'm sorry, Edward. I'm sorry, that I lied." She felt tears come and then ran to her room.

Kim went to the bathroom and began to mop up her hand. She rinsed it, watching the water flow over her hand like the memories flowed over her mind....she disinfected it and put a bandage around it. She turned and began to walk out, but stopped when she saw Edward in the doorway.

Edward's stomach turned to knots. He felt scared again and started to back up against the wallpaper. He had done it again, he now started to hate his very being. His eyebrows were frowned, and now finally in Edward's dry eyes, there was moisture. "I'm sorry....." He walked away quickly while scraping the walls on either side of the hall on purpose with his hands.

Rachel was laying on her bed, crying. She had liked Edward so much and she still hadn't figured out why. Maybe, because he was different and she liked that about him. But, now that he recognized her mom, she had no change.

Edward didn't stop. He already slipped into one of the rooms of the house feeling the knots in his stomach grow worse. He looked at the things in the room as he felt himself start to whimper under his breath, but still no tear fell from his eyes. He then immediately started to cut things, but not to make them nice as he used to, now he was destorying them.

(Dude, I would think you saw the movie way more than once...how is my character Edward doing?)
As soon as Edward heard her words clearly, he stopped. The room was in a mess as the wallpaper was torn clear off the wall, the bed was in pieces, a lamp had crashed to the floor, even the carpet started to lift. He turned slowly to face her, but his sad eyes remained to look at the floor.
