Barret just sighed, rubbing his eyes and squinting into the sunlight. "Yeah, I'm sorry." His took a deep breath, trying to calm himself down and control himself. "Hey, Dylan, thanks. I would love it if you bought a hat for me, I'm a little short on cash now, seeing as I gave it all to you yesterday," he said to Dylan, trying to hide his pain. He laughed. "Did you sleep at all lat night, Cat? You sound tired. And um...I'm still hungry," he added the last comment with a bit of a mock annoyed tone to it.

He felt weird. something odd was going on. He wasn't usually the type to let his emotions run wild like he had.

Barret smiled and hugged his sister back . "Yeah, but it's all okay now. We're all okay here! NOW I WANT MY BREAKFAST!" he fake growled. He was really fighting his tears.

The hunger was eating at him and he let it so that he could get his mind off of everything else. For some reason, he thought that this Cat was important...that she was supposed to be part of his story.
