"Ahh" Sirius sighed "That sounds a little like the old-you again.." He shook dramaticly his head which caused his dark hair to fall for his eyes but then he looked up again.
"Bye Evans, don't worry about us.. we'll enjoy ourselves.."
He leaned closer to his friends, sometimes looking back over his shoulder through the Common Room to check if nobody was listening and then whispered: "A few days ago I walked on the Seventh Floor. I was in a hurry.. Do you remember we had hand in this essay for History of Magic?" Sirius grinned and lowered his voice even more "I never wrote it.. We'd been in Hogsmeade the day before remember? So I walked back and forth on the seventh floor, thinking of an excuse when suddenly a door appeared.. First I thought Peeves was causing malice again.. but there was no sign of him. "
Sirius sat back in his chair and continued, enjoying the attention. "I entered the room, because I thought to know every single room or secret passage in Hogwarts, and I found a room with shelves filled to the top with all kind of essays. Master pieces, brilliant pieces of writing. So I took my pick for History of Magic and left the room but did not go back, to find it ever since. "
With a satisfied look, he grinned at his friends as his story was over, waiting for their reactions.

James looked up at Lily as she stood up "Watch out, I've heard that Slytherins like to meet up somewhere around there, I didn't see them tonight though. Keep your wand near just in case." he said seriously and then grinned as she stepped away "Oh, we will. Knowing Sirius, we'll have too much of it. Good night." he said and finally turned to Sirius and Remus.

The story was interesting, but James somewhat doubted that it was true. He didn't think that Sirius was lying to them, no, but he was sure that they knew about every secret passage and room in the castle. After all they did have the Marauder's map. Then again, Sirius did turn the essay even though no one ever saw that the actually wrote it. One of his eyebrows arched again as Sirius finished.

"Are you sure that you didn't dream all that? I've never heard about something like that. How about you Moony?"

Lily smiled at james and shook her head slightly, "Will do Potter, plus... them Slytherin's have nothing on me." she said laughing, then as she walked past them, she couldn't help but overhear what they talking about. Lily smiled to herself, "It's called the Room of Requirments," she said as she smiled at them, and started making her way out.

Sirius grinned. Evans was a smart girl, she would probably have read about the room in 'Hogwarts: a History'. He didn't read books or think of it's name. No more important, he thought of it's use.. If the Room provided what he thought it would..

Sirius woke from his thoughts and looked at his watch. A quarter past eleven "So, you're both in?"

"Yea," mumbled Remus, "I'm in. But I don't know what you're expecting to get out of it Padfoot. The Room of Requirement only gives you what you need." He paused for a moment, then added with a smirk, "Or at least what you think you need."

Hmm...what would Prongs and Padfoot need? Dungbombs, Filbuster's Fireworks, brains, quidditch supplies, the list could go on and on.

James tried not to turn around as he finally heard that Lily started making her way out. He said nothing as she interfered in the conversation, she actually knew about the room Sirius mentioned. That had to mean that the room really existed, but then again, how did she know about it?

He raised his head and looked at Sirius again. Without saying anything he stood up "I'm in, Moony is in and we're both ready. What about Wormtail though? Did anyone see him around today?" he asked and walked over to the table where his bag was. The invisible cloak was inside, Marauder's map too - both were needed. He picked up the bag and turned back to Sirius and Remus waiting for an answer.

Sirius looked thoughtful for a minute. "Now you mention it.. I haven't seen our little friend for days.." Then he shrugged and laughed "Probably McGonagall gave him a life time of detention. She doesn't like him too much you know.." He shook his head and his dark hair fell back while he said less serious: "He really shouldn't copy our essays anymore.."

Lily was now debating over in her head wether she should tell them or not, that their little "Friend" was hanging around with the Slytherins, she'd never beleive it, if she hadn't seen it with her own eyes, Peter with malfoy and Bellatrix, first she thought they were messing around with him, she then saw them whispering quietly, she could sense something was up, Lily sighed and looked back at them, "Your friend was with Black and Malfoy last night."

He felt ashamed of the name Black and everything attached to it: their 'pure blood' obsession, their elite attitude and worst of all their fascination with the Dark Arts.
