Several items spilled from Aithne's pack as it hit the ground with a solid thump: a silver flask of faelnirv, a few daggers, and a small, dark blue pouch which rustled oddly.

Alyrha sighed. "Bryn!" She called and he jumped from a tree, landed on his feet. "Yes?" Bryn said and smiled. "We should go now." Bryn sighed for he was looking forward to sleep and then mounted his horse. Alyhra did the same and they started riding back.

Aithne slept deeply, but in her dreams, dark things rose about her. The forest burned in her dreams, and children fled screaming. She shifted uneasily, almost falling from the branch. Her eyes snapped open as the last image flashed before her eyes- Galbatorix, laughing, as Eragon and Saphira fell from a bloodred sky. She sat up, panting heavily, and looked around frantically for her bag.

Aithne dropped to the ground and quickly scooped her few possessions back into the sack. She climbed the tree again quickly, no longer tired, but determined to head back to the battle field, to tell Lord Eragon, Lady Arya, and Lady Nasuada what she had seen in her dreams. She leapt into the sky, opening her wings as she soared, savoring the joys of flight.
