Name: Caralyna (Cara) Remossvani
Occupation: Aes Sedai
Age: 40 - but looks ageless
History: Born in what is now the top of Kinslayer's Pass due to the Breaking, Cara was discovered to have the spark early on in life. She was taught by the best of the Aes Sedai in her lifetime, and every now and then spoke to Lews Therin himself. She was looked upon with great promise, then the Bore was created, the male Aes Sedai went mad, and Cara was left on her own. She has one warder, Aren, bonded only a few months before this story takes place. She is wandering the land, looking for a safe haven and any other Aes Sedai she might find.

Occupation: Aes Sedai
Age: 53
History: One of Lews Therin's Hundred Companions, Ragain was part of the group who sealed the Dark One and the Forsaken into Shayol Ghul. Saidin now tainted by the Dark One's counterstroke, Ragain is fated to go mad. Those who come near him fear it has happened already.

Name: Hadar Nathcayn

Age: 31

Race: Aes Sedai

Appearance: Average height, thin. Short brown hair, dark blue eyes. He's has a narrow face with a large, jutting nose and high forehead.

Personality: Very patient and tolerant, but inwardly conniving. He usually is kind and gentlemanly, but given to bursts of irrational anger. These happen more and more frequently as he uses the One Force.

History: Nasin was born into nobility. As firstborn, he was in line to inherit his father's land. After the Breaking, when he was about 15, he discovered the spark within him. His parents, trying to avoid a scandal, went to great lengths to keep their positions. They convinced Nasin to leave the area, telling others he was going to live with an uncle.

Torn from his comfortable life, Nasin had trouble even surviving at first. He became a wanderer, begger, and theif. Two years later, he decided he had had enough of that. He managed to get a position as a servant in a merchant's house. He gradually worked his way up until he was head over the rest of the household, including the merchant's monetary affairs. Patiently, he nipped off bits of money here and there, and put them in his own account, until he had quite an impressive sum saved up.

One night, he took all of his possesions and the money he had stolen and left the merchant's house. He travelled to a different part of the land and bought a house, small plot of land, and a few servants. Through crafty business deals, he gained more land and money, until he owned a small estate. Currently, he's an important businessman, and he's involved in politics.

(Ahem.... sorry about my lie in my above post.... but now we really are starting! Yay! And, Vengeance, this is before the books, but it is when male Aes Sedai are beginning to go mad. You may be a male Aes Sedai if you like, but he will enventually have to go insane or be severed. But like I said, you are still welcome to be one )

It was a cold night, and no sound but the blowing of the wind broke the eery silence. While the quiet was a welcome respite from the constant sounds of destruction and carnage that haunted her dreams, Niande Alkaese was not comforted. Every shadow that moved filled her with icy fear. In the past she wouldn't have been so cowardly, but that was when she had been surrounded by other Aes Sedai. Now, that life was long gone. She was but a lone woman, barely strong enough in the One Power to be considered among the number of Aes Sedai. It quelled her to think of how helpless she would be if confronted by a darkfriend or, almost worse now, a male channeler.

That thought made her shiver. Since Lews Therin and his Hundred Companions had sealed the bore in the Dark One's prison, all male channelers had begun to go mad. Some went insane more quickly than others, but it was growing obvious that eventually, all male Aes Sedai would be doomed to insanity and death. They were who started what was being referred to as the 'Breaking of the World.' And the name fit. In their madness, male channelers were destroying the land. If this chaos ever ended then geographers would have to create new maps.

Niande shivered and tried not to think about the destruction. Her fellow female Aes Sedai, those who had been able to group together unlike herself, were doing what they could to put a stop to the madness. The ominous act of Severing seemed to be the only solution. As much as she hated the thought of cutting anyone off from the One Power... she knew it was nescessary.

Unfortunately, Niande could do nothing to help that cause by herself. Even the strongest Aes Sedai would have a hard time Severing another Aes Sedai alone, and she was not one of the strongest Aes Sedai. She wished that she could find some of her sisters to travel with, not just for protection, but so that she could aid them with what strength she had. But she had been unsuccessful in her search.

Looking around warily, making sure that no one was around, Niande weaved flows of Fire into the small pile of sticks and leaves that she had gathered in front of her. The kindling sparked and then a few small flames appeared. It wasn't much, but it would provide enough heat to survive. Niande laid down on her side and told herself that she needed to try and get some sleep... but try as she might it evaded her.

A thin face, with high cheekbones, a beak of a nose, thin lips, and piercing brown eyes sometimes covered by Gerant's shoulder-length , well combed black hair.
Personality:
A hard man, one who has weathered many battles and had won them. With Saidin aiding him, he is as ruthless as he is cruel. Being disowned from a noble house only fueled his anger at the world. But as cruel as he is, he never fights women unless he is desperate. He retains most of his sanity, but sometimes fragments of madness forces through cracks in his discipline and commits horrors unbeknownst to Gerant, who experiences long periods of blackout during the time of the horrors. Recently he has begun to speak with a man within his mind, and also a girl that has recently lodged hersel there.

Name: Moreth Eklindar
Occupation: Warder (someone take me as warder)
Gender: male
Age: 36
Affiliation: his Aes Sedai
Appearance:
Long brown hair that's frequently tied back in a ponytail. His left eye is scarred from a battle some years before, but their piercing blueness is undiminished. Scars cover his body, and he is very proud of them. He'd earned every one of the scars he received, and he repaid them in triple. A goatee covers his chin (but not only his chin )

Personality:
Moreth is dead loyal toward whomever he may choose to follow. He will unhesitatingly give his life if his lord or lady -or Aes Sedai in this case (again somebody pick him) if they demand it. A quiet man who usually does not have much to say, his skill with the sword can be matched by few. But he will never commit an act that will harm the innocent and the helpless. Having lost his memory after an ordeal with a mad male Aes Sedai, Koreth is unwilling to think about his forgotten past and seeks to protect others from the madness of those tainted by Saidin.

um... well it appears you have this vigilant, gallant young knight (or not ) by your side for your character. Have you read any of the book? (just wondering cause if you had i think it'd be easier to understand) and, well you can pm me with any questions...do you want my charrie as your warder?

Gerant walked aimlessly through the snowy woods, their beauty hidden to him both by the darkness of the night and his utter detachment from the immediate world around him. Even the fork in the trodden path failed to arouse his interest. His sole interest was himself.

Or rather, those who were inside him.

Currently, Bobert [pronounced Bob-ert] and Michellin [mish-uh-lin] were arguing over what to do first when they get to the nearest inn. Gerant had plenty of money. His superior had seen to that. He would need it to accomplish his task.

What was his task again? Bobert thinks that he is to kill all and every Aes Sedai or anyone that might by sympathetic toward Aes Sedai (which included everyone) as revenge for the imprisoning of the Dark One. Michellin had different ideas. She thought his first mission was a bath. They have not bathed for days, and she wanted them to be clean. When they get a chance they should also cut their hair and undergo a thorough massage.

What did Gerant think? He didn't think anything. He was too busy listening to them arguing to think about anything.

With nobody guiding their feet that plodded one after another on the soft, snow-covered dirtpath through the forest, the boots chose to go left on the fork and kept on. In Gerant's interest to the fun argument that was happening inside their heads, he missed the tiny flickering of the orange flames, and tripped over a bundle a little off the path.

Lucky they didn't run into the flames.

Then they realized that that was a woman. Saidin flooded through him, carrying with it the stench of the taint, and Gerant felt whole. Felt powerful. Felt...

Bloodthirsty.

He felt their mouth ask, "Who are you, and what are you doing here?"

Tieanna Medarious glanced up at the man that had tripped over her. "My name is Tieanna Medarious, and I was only resting for a moment. She pulled the blanket arround herself more securely.

Her horse was tied to a low hanging branch not far from where she sat huddled by a fire.She didn't like this man he wasn't right and she could sence it. He frightened her.

"Is there something I can do for you?" She asked standing. She wanted to give herself a better chance to get to her horse incase somthing happened.
