"Would you like a drink my dear?" The girl nodded gracefully and stood up with him. "Oh no my dear, it would be my pleasure to get it for you, champagne? Excelent." He kissed her hand and moved away though the crowds.

As he made his way back he espeid a woman sitting down at the end of a row. My she was beutiful. Tristan was known for being a suplicant to the goddess of beutey; all his girls ( Note: not in that sense my loves, its just Tristan always has some beutiful woman on his arm, and those most often seen are known as his girls; though he has no desighns upon them) were soft on the eyes, but this one; my she was gorgeouse. He must find out her name.

Tristan stumbled and picked himself up gracefully; from where he had tripped on the courner of Fantasia's dress. "I'm so sorry Miss...?" he let the sentence trail away charmingly.

Fantasia turned blue-violet eyes up to look at the young man addressing her. "Fantasia ..." She smiled in a seemingly shy manner. "And you are Lord d' Lacey unless I am mistaken." She knew she wasn't, but that was the way of small talk and flirting.
She took note of several people stareing, but ignored them and kept her attention on the man before her. "I apologise if I caused you ill." She said tucking her wayward skirt out of the way. "I seem to be forever tripping people."

Dorielle came running in almost. she hated to be late and this time she was almost late. before she walked into the main hall where most people were. she calmed and walked in gracefully. she smiled as the ones who smiled at her.
she looked around for her dear friend Tristain. almost like a brother to her, he was. she smiled at the thought of him and his lacy clothing.
she walked around a bit. she found her seat. it was next to him. but he was no where to be seen.
she could see a young woman sitting on the other side of Tristains seat. she smiled at the girl. must be another one of his girls. she thought. although in a way i guess i am one of his girls as well. she quickly threw that thought aside and then finally spoted Tristain talking to another woman. she smiled. always the charmer she thought.

Mercedes d`Arte
Female
Vampire
128 years old

Her smokey eyes are a hazy grey, subtly shifting between blue and green. Dark auburn hair tumbles in loose curls over her shoulders. Standing at 5'6", she is not short or tall, but her presence is demanding. Can be somewhat pushy at times, and is accustomed to getting what she wants. Mercedes lives a high life, running in several well-connected social circles, and has an avid love for the arts. She is often wears form-fitting gowns, varied according to fashion and occasion.

~*~

Mercedes slinked up the stairs that led to the great hall, followed by the usual entourage of connections, slowly taking step by step. She was hardly aware when someone made what must have been a funny joke, and laughed when the others did. Her slender fingers absently traced along the sides of the invitation, herself enveloped, but in thought rather than expensively brilliant red paper.

The great hall divided into narrow corridors that would lead them to the auditorium-like chamber. "Oh, Mercedes darling. Have you met my dear friend..." She coldly acknowledged the connection, being only as polite as was necessary. The acquaintence was made quickly, and ended, as most did, with an invitation to visit this summer home in that lovely town for the season, in which those people had had a splendid holiday...But it was all simply a circle of politeness (because to not extend an invitation was of course, incredibly rude). The usher guided them through the aisles to their seats, where they waited expectantly for the lights to dim and heavy curtains to rise.

Although you could not tell by merely looking at her, nothing excited Mercedes more than an opening night, except the fact that the opening night was here, at this particular theatre. She swept her gaze across the audience, people still being led to their seats, and the stage. Then she glanced above the crowd, to the reserved boxes above, her lips graced with a slight smirk before turning back to the stage.

"Nothing you do could ever cause me ill Madmioselle Fantasia," his mouth lingured over the name " unless it was your beutey." he replied kissing her hand. He was caught. Her shyness drew him in as a night fisher when he holds a lamp before the hypnotised trout. "I do so hope to see you again Madmioselle Fantasia; it would be an houner and a delight to become better aquaninted with you." He stepped backwards and made a low bow; such as you might give to a queen. "I hope we are well enough aquainted already that you can find it within yourself to call me Tristan?" he ended with a flirtatios smile and left.

Tristan returned to his seat a few minits later bareing; as luck would have it, three glasses of champagne. His eyes alighted with delight upon Dorielle and a real smile lit up his face. "Darling!" He exclaimed and kissed her on either cheek; a liberty he would take with no one but her. He handed her a glass of champagne. "I haven't seen you in ages dearest; where have you been hideing yourself, Paris is utterly dull without your wit." he said with a brotherly grin.
"Oh, my apoligies for being so rude. Dorielle, this is Maria Pujos; she's just come up from the Rivere, her brother asked me to keep and eye on her. Maria, may i introduce Dorielle; an excelent freind of mine." he smiled beneficially at the pair of them.

(I'm very sorry about spelling, I'm dyslexic)

(( it's ok your a beautiful writer anyway))

Dorielle smiled at her friend. " good to see you too. i've been here and there. mostly..i have been..well..i've been writing a few plays." she blushed. she never really showed anyone or told anyone about her play writing. she thought Tristain should know since he asked what she had been up to.
she smiled at the woman on the other side of him. " hello. " she nodded at her. " your brother was smart to put you in the company of this fine man" she said grining at the man who had treated her like a little sister.

Fantasia watched Tristen walk away and smiled to herself. Oh the ways of men. She liked him, but she was not going to let herself get to carried away. She was going to enjoy him before revealing who she really was.
She glanced back to where he sat taking note of the two girls sitting with them. I must remind myself to invite him to the ball I'm planning later this week.

"I'm sure my brother would only do whats best for me." replied Maria demurly; illastrateing exactly why she'd been handed over to Tristan with the injuncture to 'shake her up a bit old man'.
Tristan grinned at her, slightly wolfishly it may be said. His eyes opened wide. "Writeing plays? Oh my dear Dorielle; let me be the first to congratulate you and offer myself up as patron." he smiled

Fantasis returned her attention to the stage clasping her hands in her lap. She closed her eyes and tiled her head to the side slightly before allowing the idle thoughts of the other occupants in the theater to flood her mind. She did not add her own this time, just mearly listened amusing herself at there expence.
She opened her eyes scanning the croud once more. She picked out indeviduales that looked interesting and concentrated on there thoughts for a while before moving on to the next. She smiled, then glanced up at box three again.

Dorielle. blushed. " thank you. although i have no one to show them to so that they may be preformed." she looked around. " maybe the play writer here could possibly help me out too." she smiled.
she glanced over at Fantasia then at Tristin. " so do you know that woman you were talking to, my dear Tristain?" she said smiling knowing that he probably didn't know her and was just flirting.

"The Lady Fantasia? Of course not! I will though" he said with a slight laugh.

[Noel, darling, must I remind you of my at-least-seven-sentence-post rule? No one-liners, please. Everyone hates them. Sorry for my absence.]

Sebastian's moody gaze swivelled once again to his pocketwatch, clicking it shut after noting the time. The show was to begin, the audience growing restless, and settling in number, to be sure, but where was that idiot employee of his?

His curiousity was quenched as soon as he turned his attention to the stage, cued only by placid song of violins...the musicians were hiding on a lower level before the stage, out of site of the audience. If the subtle start of music did not hush the crowd, the man taking center stage would. A tall robust man with a ruddy complexion and a brilliantly winning smile greeted the audience with warmth.

Finally, Jean.. Sebastian thought irritatedly.

Jean-Gerrard raised his white-gloved palms--a man of obvious style, of course--and signaled the music to stop, gathering the audience's attention. Proper equilibrium had been gained, at last, and things were in motion. The twinkle in Jean's eye was levelled at Sebastian for a brief second, but then turned to the center of the vast auditorium. Charming.

"Ladies and gentlemen.." He began smoothly and quickly, " it is I, Jean-Gerrard, who am proud to bid you all welcome to this great Theatre, and I am privileged to announce the start of our show. I pray you all enjoy it as immensely as I have." His voice was dripping with grandeur, and he took a sweeping bow before vanishing from the stage, yet not before throwing a wink or two at some of the ladies in the audience.

The sconces adorning the walls of the auditorium dimmed in unison, swamping the room in an opaque gloom, meanwhile a solitary pillar of cerulean light shone on the stage. A few notes were stroked from a piano somewhere among the musicians below, and produced into view was a lone young female. Her raven tresses coiled in soft tendrils about her youthful rosy face and tumbled down to her waist. She was dressed in a fine black silk gown with white laced sleeves and petite white gloves, while around her wrists were the daintest pair of silver shackles ever to be seen--all for looks, of course. Her small painted lips parted and out loosed was a frail beginning to a song sung in french..It wasn't until the third or fourth word that two other female voices joined in (both women unseen) a somewhat spooky rhythm that the tune began to blossom into something more enthralling.

Sebastian looked at the audience. Two vampires. One a coy flirt, already snaring a victim it looked, and another who had just entered last. He ran his tongue along his teeth thoughtfully.

Fantasia felt someone stareing at her and allowed her gaze to shift to box three one last time before the soft music of violens drew her attention back to the stage.
The young man standing there effectively silenced the rest of the audiance and made his announcements. A little later then schedualed... She thought to herself as the lights dimmed and a girl took the stage.
She smiled and closed here eyes allowing the haunting melody to wash over her. "Yes..." She wispered relaxing back into her chair to enjoy it.

Rachel had a hard time following the song in french, she had felt someone look at her. Her mind wonder, who had create this, it...it was good. A little creepy but it was good. She fell in love with the song though she knew a little french. She took her eyes away from the stage and watch the people who were sitting near her.

Dorielle rolled her eyes at Tristain. " always finding more 'girls'" she said giggling. she hushed herself as the man spoke.
his smile was infectious and his voice was pleasent. she smiled.
after he was done thus begun the play. the song entranced her as it seemed to do to everyone else. she followed every word easily. she was french. it was easy.

Tristan smiled. Perfect, this was why he loved Sebastien's plays; the music. The entire audiance was hypnotised. He let an arm drape anround each girl. For Dorielle, it rested on her shoulder, for Maria it was slightly lower. She, however did not notice; for the moment.

Trsitan suppressed a low chuckle and sat back to enjoy the peice. It really was sensational, and that girl; my, he'd have to find out her name. Young actresses were always looking for wealthy patrons.

(sorry :( )
