Guinivere tried to sit up again. She had fallen quite some time ago now, and she was aching all over. Black hair spilling over her shoulders, she looked around. She was sitting in the crater that she had caused with her fall. She cursed and looked up at the star-bright sky. That was her home. And she was missing it already. She didn't want to be sitting in some crater, hurt and bruised. She wrapped her arms around her legs and lay her head on her knees, sighing.

Aurora rolled onto her side and sighed. The market had just closed for the night but her mind was still buzzing with life. She got up from her bed in the small trailer behind her mothers stall and walked out the door and down the steps into the deserted market. "Maybe a walk will clear my head." She thought and begun walking, glancing every now and then at the bright, star-filled night sky.

Even In Darkness [Updating]

Sitting by herself, Guinivere wondered briefly where exactly she was. She knew all about the Wall, behind which lay the magical world of Stormhold. She had watched these lands, for centuries and centuries. If she was in Stormhold, she'd have a lot more chance of getting back home - maybe with a babylon candle. Sighing, she struggled to get to her feet. She was still hurting, after all, it had been a long fall.

Celandine watched the moon from her window. It was bright and a full orb; with that mystical white glow she loved so much. She stood up, and wandered to the door, silently. Moonlight strolls were her favourite. He rdark hair framing her delicate face, she set out into the night, smiling, no idea of where tonights walk would take her.

Will frowned whilst looking out of upon stormhold the wind cool and still until a few minutes ago. Having watched what seemed like a shooting star fall into stormhold far in the distance he turned his back on which would be his land one day, walking back into stormholds palace closing the doors in which led out onto the balcony.

Guinivere was still glowing ever so slightly, a silvery light all about her. She had no idea where to go, she thought that she might as well just stay where she was. She had caused a massive crater anyway, and didn't know how to climb up it. Glaring, she folded her arms and looked around.

Sierra sat on a pitch black horse, trotting through the forest surrounding Stormhold. A black cloak with silver embroidering was drapped over her orange-gold locks, and around her frail-looking shoulders and onto the haunches of the horse. Moonlight rides like this was her only escape from the castle's politics. But tonight she had another reason to be out.

A star had fallen. Sierra had seen it fall from her tower window. She was riding for the place it had fallen. She didn't seek the star for the immortality granted when the heart was eaten. She just wanted to meet the star.

The princess of Stormhold saw immortality as a burden. Having to watch your family and friends die of age around you while you stayed young... the thought sent shivers down the girl's back...

Guinivere was beginning to get restless. It was nighttime, she was still glowing, but she was cold, which she wasn't used to. She was also afraid, though she didn't even like to admit it to herself. She knew all about the tale of how useful star's hearts were to certain people. And she was alone. Sniffing, she wrapped her arms around her thin shoulders to warm herself up.

Sierra soon came to the brink of the crater. She gasped when she saw the glowing figure inside. She was beautiful. The princess dismounted in a flurry of silky black cloth, and she came to stand at the very edge.
"Hello star, what is you name?" she called in an awed voice...

Guinivere gasped too as a human approached her. She clambered to her feet. She brushed her jet-black hair from her bright blue eyes. "My name is Guinivere," she said. She paused, desperate to plead with the human. "Don't hurt me."

Sierra slid down the side of the crater, and stopped at the bottom, a few yards from Guinivere.
"I'm Sierra of Stormhold. I won't hurtt you. I see no need for power or anything like that," she said, and noticed the star was shivering from cold. Sierra unclasped her cloak and held in out to Guinivere. "Here, you look cold."

Guinivere gingerly took the cloak that Sierra offered to her. She threw it round her shoulders. "What do you want, then?" she said, too flustered to be polite. So, she was in Stormhold then. That suited her well enough. Rather here than on the other side of the wall.

"To meet me?" Guinivere asked, amazed. She raised her eyebrows. "Well, here I am then. I'm cold, I'm several thousand metres from my home, I have no where to go - fine company I should make!"

Calista stood upon the palace balcony, enjoying the feel of the cool breeze upon her skin as strands of golden blonde hair blew across her face. From where she stood she saw a star fall from the sky and plummet to the earth. She had heard the tales of these stars-how eating the heart of one could gain a person immortality. Yet, she had never desired it-did not desire to live through the ages alone while her friends and family fell to the slow decay of time. Yet she was curious about these beings and knew in her heart she had to try to find the Star that had crashed.
