Alandra stood silent, staring at him with her sharp stare. She waited for the Captain to answer, or Viceroy Organa.

Organa said,"Right this way, my lord Vader."

Eljaraj looked up, and she looked at Vader. She was one of the last Jedi, of course, but she, as well, was one of the last of the Nubians, that had fled to Alderann.

Alandra followed a bit behind Organa, out of duty alone. She exchanged the merest half-glance with Eljaraj, making sure she knew, as well.

Eljaraj casted a half glace at Alandra, and picked up her daughter who was struggling to keep up.

Vader strided slowly behind them in a almost mechanical movement. While Mara Jade walked slowly behind the group with her blaster hidden in her garments. Vader had been sent to Alderaan to inspect if it was still conected to the Empire. And the people being recruited for the Empire's army.

It's going to be a long day.. Mara thought with a sigh. She peered around watching for any trouble that might come towards Lord Vader. But none came for as most knew he was a Sith and they could sense danger a mile away.

Mara Jade stretched out with the force and felt readings of other Jedi there. Not to far away either she gripped her saber ready for the enemies of her master.

Alandra sensed the power of the girl, that she was reaching out with the Force, and kept herself still (not physically,) so as not to be easily read or predicted. She kept her sharp, wary eyes on both Vader and this child.

Mara Jade felt something touch her mind but she quickly disimissed it because she was still new in the ways of the force. She was neither a dark nor a light Jedi she was as the Emperor would call an expriment. That's what my master only thinks of me a new toy to help him rule the empire. Mara thought.

She then felt a huge pain corse through her body.

Mara Jade do not dishoner me. I can hear you thoughts my child.

Mara Jade gasped as she finally was let out of the pain. The others looked at her. But she quickly returned to a busisness like manner and quietly kept walking.

Vader ignored Mara Jade's pain and kept walking. Though he could feel it it didn't matter much.

Mara sadly walked behind she showed a completely blank face. No one could see her true emotions.

Alandra could sense the girl's pain, try as she may to hide it, and looked down at her. She looked up at the others. She could not slip away....she would try later.

They came to the quarters Mara Jade was assigned her own room. There she quickly changed into more comfortable clothes and sat on the end of her bed deep in thought. For once Vader did not need her he was going to a meeting and she was to be left alone. Even without guards she couldn't escape. Palpatine had a way of finding out where she was which she did not know how.

She wished she knew who her parents were. That she had once a good home. But all thoughts of that were gone besides her intense sometimes painfull training with Palpatine no thoughts remained of her old life.

She sighed, sometimes she wished she knew her family. Others times not. She had a good home in the Empire. And was Palpatine's Hand that gave her much. But all through that she was still young and discontent with her life. She fingered her purple lightsaber. Staring at the handle sometimes helped her think but right now it only brought back un happy memories.
