Blackbird roughly helped Jack into the chair and grinned dryly. "Why can't you just once admit that you forgot?" she asked, playing with a loose curl that had escaped her ponytail. Seeing no comprehension on his face, she added, "You said something about an adventure, Jack, and I'm highly interested. Mind expounding upon that subject?"

Jack stared at the blurred face of BlackBird's. For some reason no matter how he tried, he could not remember why he wanted to see BlackBird, or why the heck he was in the Inn. "No no, I remember now....." He could not conjure up the courage to tell Blackbird he really didn't know.

Blackbird just sighed and drained her mug. "You just stay here with Will, Jack," she said, standing up. "I'm gonna get another drink."

Blackbird just shook her head and caught the bartender's attention. As soon as she had her drink she made her way back over and sat across from Jack. "Now," she said, taking a drink. "Time for business."

Jack frowned at Blackbird seeing she didn't bring him a drink. He licked his lips staring at it like a hungry vulture. "Ah yes,..to, to business." He said as his eyes were glued to the drink. They slowly looked back up to meet hers and said, "Where's mine?"
