Lily sat alone in the corner of a cell. Pierre was stood, peering out the small window in the cell next door.
"Pierre?" Lily whispered.
"Yea?" He replied.
"Can you see anything?"
"Yea, the top of the sails are just about visible. They should be here soon." Pierre said, refering to his ship that should come and rescue them.
The cells were small and walled on 3 sides although at the top of the walls there were bars. Pierre's hand appeared through the gap and Lily stood up, reaching up and holding his weathered hand. _________________
