Laura saw Kris drifting away, when she heard someone sobbing. Turning round, she saw Emmy, sitting by the wall. Laura slowly went over to her and put her hand on Emmy's shoulder, trying to smile at her. "It's going to be alright", she said softly. "It's all going to be alright."

Dom stirred in his sleep, curling up in a ball, then relaxing a bit.

Gabriel walked into the backyard, looking around before he got too close and risked messing up any evidence. He saw a baseball bat lying in one corner of the yard-it had a little blood on it. The dirt by the fence was soft and had several prints in it. <i>Perfect</i> he thought, and walked closer.

Emmy quickly wiped her eyes and looked at Laura.
"I know, i'm just tired." Emmy lied. She forced a smile and hugged her sister, "No worries."

Laura looked int oher sisters' eyes, somehow she didn't belive her right. She hid her face into Emmys' shirt "I'm scared", she whispered. Laura pressed herself against Emmy and sobbed till she fell asleep.

Annalett, who was clearly forgotten by her siblings, still stood on the table, looking through the crack she made in the door in the ceiling that had chains keeping it shut, and a big guard standing by it. She wasn't aware of what was going on the the room, until she got down from the table, pondering.
Theres only one guard that I can see, she thought us older ones should be able to take care of him... Maybe those karati classes were a good thing... the only problem is how to get the chains off the door...
Annalett got back onto the table, and cracked open the door to look at the guard, and smiled, around his waste were some keys... if she only reached up high enouph she could get them...
"man!" she said loudly, then shut the door quickly just incase the guard heard her. The table was too low for her to get the keys...

Shade drove quietly towards the F.B.I. station and parked in the nearest open space and turned off the engine. She sat there, thinking, and sighed. How could one man get off with so many kids in one moment? She thought before getting out of the door. She was risking her neck by going in here, because they still wanted her for arrest, but her solving cases and Gabriel's huge help saved her from seeing silver hard bars every morning when she awoke.

Silas turned as he heard a voice from the trapdoor. It quickly shut, and he frowned. "Tom-move that table onto the door." he said. Hopefully that would help keep it closed.

Gabriel grabbed his cell phone and pushed 1- the speed dial for Shade's phone. He continued to survey the yard as he waited for her to answer.

Tom grunted at his boss's instruction, and did so. But you must remember Tom isn't very bright, so he put the table ove the door, but the table was bigger than the door, so there was nothhing holding down the door. And Tom stood back at his post, and dozed off a little standing up...

Shade was awoken from her thoughts as he phone rang. She jumped and answered it, calmly, as she saw it was Gabriel. "What's up?"

"Hey," Gabriel said as Shade answered the phone, "could you check in the backseat, make sure I have my bag in there? The black one, you know. I'll be needing that."

"Sure." Shade answered. "Hold on a sec..." She unlocked the car and put the phone on the passengers seat as she looked for the bag. Sure enough, it was there, under all the rest of his junk he kept in the car. (:P) Shade pulled the bag out and put in on the seat and picked up the phone again and said, "Well, after looking through the jungle of junk in the trunk I found your item, sir." Shade said in a phony voice and she chuckled. "Anyway, would you like me to bring it to you now?"

Kris woke in the middle of the night, freezing. She shivered. She was so cold....she tried to get warm, but no matter wut she did; no matter how she moved, she couldn't seem to...(would write more, but i gtg! )
