Tynel wacked at the pole, trying to push himself into recovery. He knew it probably wouln't work, but her, being himself, would try. He was being sucessful so far, and then he decided to try and over head swing. He raised his blade over his head, and it was followed by the sound of blade hitting deck, and with a small cry of surprised pain, Tynel grabbed his shoulder and waited for the pain to subside. He looked down at his arm and could see a crimson color start to spread itself across his bandage. He cursed as he bit his bottom lip. Great. He put away his sword, and walked below deck, where he saw a few others, Mira, for one, whom he had not seen for a while, and Zenith, the new comer. He didn't say anything as he searched for the bandages raven had had earlier. She must have put them somewhere! Ty thought to himself. He didn't really feel like going back upstars to ask raven, so instead he turned to the others in the large room.

"Do either of you happen to know where the blasted medical kit is?!" Ty was obviously not in a good mood, he liked to stay fit and skilled in battle, and he didn't have that right now.

Hearing nearly as sharp as a hawk's, Raven had looked up sharply hearing the cry of pain, and she knew immediately whose it had been. Frowning, she wondered what in the world was wrong, while not feeling like walking belowdeck to find out. Her ankle had begun throbbing with a renewed intensity, much to her annoyance.

Thyiri lobbed a bundle of bandages at him. "There's your kit, mate," she said with a wry grin. "Have a ball."

The bandages hit Tynel in the head, and he quickly picked them up off the floor.

"Thanks." he said sarcasticly. He then sat down on the stairs, and started bandaging his arm. At the same time, he started talking to Zenith.

"So your family was killed by the Ursurpers, eh?" He looked up, she barely lifted her eyes to him.

"Hmm. Mine was as well."

Sighing and with a lack of better things to do, Raven began walking around the deck, trying to work out the pain in her ankle, while lost in plans of what to do once they actually reached the island. Wild plans she abandoned right away, and was soon just clueless. Her only 'contacts' in the city itself were long since moved away or dead, and in reality, she was a complete stranger there. Restless and annoyed, she finally stopped her incessant pacing and leaned against the railing, staring at the crystalline water below, violet eyes glimmering just as the water glimmered in the sunlight.

You may as well have just stayed on the Usurper's coast..you have no chance of getting help from anyone in the capitol.

Sighing, Tynel decieded that this coversation was going nowhere. After bandaging his arm, he headed back up to the deck, Thyiri was at the wheel, and Raven was leaning over the railing. He hoped she wasn't sea sick. He walked over to her and put a hand on the back of her shoulder,

"You Ok?" He tried to look at her face, but could only see her reddish blonde hair.

Raven jumped, startled, and was effectively jerked out of her own thoughts. Turning her head, she said absently, "Yes, I'm fine. Just..thinking."

With that, she then folded her arms, and rested them on the railing.

Tynel smiled slightly,

"Well good, because for a second there I thought you were getting sea sick already." He leant over the railing so that he could see her face.

"Something is wrong. I can tell." Nothing.

"Fine, be that way." He said as he settled himself on the railing. He then looked up to the sky and took in a sharp breath as he took in the most beutiful sunset he had ever seen.

"By the stars..." He muttered under his breath, as his eyes widened.

"Sea sick?" Raven mouthed with a dry smile, she hadn't gotten seasick in years, and that came from always being out at sea. Just thinking back on that sent a painful rush of memories whirling through her mind. Blinking back a couple tears furiously, feeling foolish for letting even that small amount of emotion show, she shook her head when he asked if something was wrong. There was something wrong, but she wasn't about to admit to it. Trying to clear her mind of all those memories, she lifted her head sharply, hearing the way he breathed in so sharply.

"What is it?"

Tynel didn't take his eyes off the sunset.

"I've never seen something so beutiful." He smirked.

"If the Ursurpers have any sense of taste, this is one thing that will stop them in their tracks."

"If we're fortunate at all, maybe so." Raven said in a grim tone to match her now-grim mood. She highly doubted there was anything on this entire world that would stop them. Berating herself for being so grim, she sighed and lowered her gaze to the crystalline ocean again.

The calmness of the water, however, was broken a few moments later by a strong, cold wind, and Raven shivered. That was never a good sign out at sea.

Tynel abandoned his awe on the scenery to Raven's mood. She was obviously upset about something, but what? And why was it that of all the people he had ever met, This half breed was the hardest to understand. Wait, how did he know she was a half elf? Everything about Raven confused him. He layed a hand on hers,

"Really, what is wrong? You are hiding somthing." He looked into her eyes with concern but determination.

Raven met his gaze unflinchingly, though she almost wished she could be looking anywhere else just then. Yes, she was hiding something, but even she was uncertain as to what that was, oddly as that seemed.

"I just..I'm confused. I don't know.."

Tynel smiled.

"It's alright," his eyes suddenly looked distant and his voice lowered, "We all get confused sometimes." He laughed to himself as he considered the irony of he and Raven both being completely confused at the same time.
He sqeesed her hand and smiled.

"We should both get some rest. You never know what tomarrow will bring." He turned his eyes to sunset once again as he spoke

Raven smiled a little and nodded, knowing he had a point. "Aye..rest sounds like the best idea right now.." she murmured, also looking towards the now blood-red sunset. Shivering involuntarily, she hoped that wouldn't prove to be a bad omen for the next day.

Tynel colapsted on his hammock, letting his eyes close, he wandered the streets of memory lane, trying to remember everything and anything about his parents. Nothing, no memories, feelings, likes, dislikes, nothing. All he could remember about his parents was that awefull day when he learned the truth; the fact that the Ursurpers and everyone he had ever come to know and trust lied to him. That everything he had ever lived for was a lie. Ty shivered at the thought of the Ursurpers, and then wondered if Tynel was the name his parents intended for him, before their deaths - no, murders. Ty's eyes filled with salty tears, of pain, loss, dissapointment, and hate. He turned into his pillow as he softly started to cry, hoping that no one would hear him. He had a strong and firm reason to hate the Ursurpers.
