Merah landed Saeldur beside Bryn and Ash. Despite the dragon's large size, he was quite graceful in his movements and did not make much noise at all.

Merah hopped off Saeldur's back. This is it, my friend, she thought to him, Are you ready?

Saeldur snorted. The question is: Are you ready, little one?

Merah rolled her eyes and turned to Bram and Bryn. She checked and made sure that her daggers were easily accessible. Then she took a deep breath. "Let's go."

Bram hoped off Saeldur as it landed on the ground in a little noisy way. "Merah" he called her in a whispering voice. "Tell Saeldur to keep the distance shorter between the castle. Same for you, Bryn. Let me lead the way into the city" he called as he drew his sword.

Bryn nodded to Ash and said, Be careful. I don't want you being seen, but stay close. Ash looked down at him and retorted, I'm not stupid Bryn. And you better be careful. Then, she took off and Bryn sighed, then turned to the others.

Bram looked at around before he stepped forward, moved in careful but slow steps. Even though he and his company reached to Dar Laonas so safely and unseen, Bram had a very bad feeling about what is going to happen. He stopped as he thought of this matter. "Very unusual" he turned to the others and said. "We are almost at the city but not a clue from the evil sorcerer that he had been taking actions and even knew about that we arrived. So unusual that the very surrounding is safe" he waited for others respond and tell him what they thought about the current situation.

Merah nodded her agreement and clutched her dagger even more tightly. Her head swiveled from side to side, constantly looking for danger. This was the first time she was actually in a dangerous position without Saeldur right with her for protection. It was a little unnerving not having his presence.

Bram was right to foresee the upcoming danger. A dark silhouette approached towards him and the dragon riders nearby in a blink of an eye. He heard the dark silhouette laughed as it came closer to them. Bram was readier than ever to face off the enemy but a little bit fear has been settled in his very deep of his body. However, he did not take his eyes off the dark silhouette till it became visible. His sharp abd long sword was positoned before himself. "Riders, get lost" he said. "Sneak in the castle, save your friends. I will take care of this deviltry"

Merah prepared for a fight when she heard the low hissing voice. But she too noticed the determined look in Bram's eyes. She didn't want to leave him. WHat if something happened? She wanted to be able to help him. But in the end she decided to do as he said and go after the other dragon riders. "Good luck," she whispered to him. Then followed Shade off into the shadows.

She looked up at the large ominous jail, then turned to Shade. "Any ideas of how we should go about this?" she asked.
