Lee looked at Teague in awe and amazement. He always wanted to meet the man, but now that he was on the very ship that Lee was a member of the crew of, he was lost for words. He keept his pistol at his side, but wondered what would happen now.

[sorry mates, I’ve been sick this weekend. Bloody virus. Anyway, suffer me old fever-addled brain a quick question before I post: what role is Teague playing? Like... do we know what part he will have to the plot of this RP?]

With a dismissive wave of his hand, Barbossa brushed the matter aside. "An' I suppose that it's just by chance ye be following the Pearl? This great expanse of ocean is growin' smaller every day."
He stared blankly at Teague for a moment, refusing to let anything show through his expression. At last, looking back towards the Pearl he remarked,
"Well, as ye have no business with me; we can both be on our own way, and out of each others."

With an interruption at the end of Barbossa's last words, Teague said, "I don't believe in chance, Hector. There's plenty of that goin' round the world. What I believe is a higher power that allowed your ship to cross paths with mine." At this last statement his knarled boney finger pointed to the heavens, in order to indicated a celestial being...that being the man upstairs....
Now, swinging his boots off the ledge of the ship, he stood to his full height and met eyes with Barbossa. Leaving his gaze settle for a few moments, which would make anyone uncomfortable, he asked, "Where be Jack?"

Jack rested two elbows on the rusted metal bars. If any part of the Pearl he ignored, it was the brig. Now, he was realizing just how long it had been since someone was ordered to swab the deck down here.
Sighing in boredom, Jack rested his head and stared at the faint light seeping through a crack in a floorboard from up above.
A slow, yet noticeable grin settled over the pirate's face. He still had what Barbossa wanted.
