Sparrow laughed at himself some more just to try and lighten the mood a bit, it was fake of course.
He swayed to look over at the lady named Portia. She looked upset and angry, and he wondered why. So he waltzed on over to her and nudged her with a raised eyebrow, "Somethin' bothering you Miss Po..por..Part..parti..." He had forgotten her name.

Portia climbed down from the rope and stared at him. She looked even more upset when Jack couldn't remember her name. She folded her arms. "That's why I'm mad, Jack Sparrow." She shook her head and looked to the floor. "You don't remember me... and it's all my fault."

Jack thought she was crazy, but decided to play along with it. He stood by her side when he said in a funny tone of voice, "How is that?" He couldn't wait to hear the crazy womens answer.

Portia sighed and looked to the ground. "I fell off the side of the ship during a storm, and you went to go help me. But, we both slipped into the water and I managed to get us on the island. You were unconscience." She wrapped her arms around herself, sadly remembering everything.

"Man the sails! Got the hold ready to run free!" Devina shouted "And jump to it dogs!" she hugged Portia shortly "You should get him below deck brfore he decides that he wants to drown himself..." she muttered, and walked up to the helm.

Jack followed Portia below deck, staggering on the way down as the ship rocked back and forth from the waves. He examined the room, as if he were a child examing a whole new area. Obviously, he didn't remember anything.
He walked over to what looked like a regular chair, and he took a seat, letting out a deep sigh.

Portia went to the opposite side of the room; not looking at Jack. She ran her hand along the desk that Jack used to sit at. She then sat on it and looked to him. "Jack... I know you don't enjoy any of this. It's all new to you. But, the crew needs you. I need you." She said, in a soft, sad tone.

Jack still didn't respond to his name as well as he should, but just stared at Portia's face looking puzzled. "And just how do you suppose I go and do that missy?"

Jack still held confusion in his eyes, as he stared at Portia's face. "Dreams,...ah yes, dreams..." He talked to himself as his mind searched for deep memories, but he could find none.

Jack's eyes shot open as Portia started humming the tune. He then jumped up from his chair looking quite foolish in doing so and shouted, "I know that song!" He smirked, "Doesn't the words go somethin' like this...The treasure of island..dum dee dum dee dum..is far of towards the north..dum dum..Hey, so let the sun come..and sit in a chair...da dum..dee.." Apparently it was a false hope.
