Avalyn turned around to face Meleth,

"Aye, good morning to you too!" She then returned to sharpening her blade. When she was done, she put it in its sheath. She had decided early on that she would need no horse, as she could simply walk, run, swim, or fly to their destination, and it would be all the more safe.

[great! :D]

Aldenth heard of the rescue attempt during the night, whilst talking to his fellow watchman on his lookout. When he awoke in the morning he went in search of Lana, desiring to find out what was happening. After a short search, he saw her standing by a cart on the edge of the camp. Striding up to her, he inclinded his head.
"General", he looked up, taking in the cart, and the preparations for the journey.
"I heard there is to be a rescue party. I assume you are intending to go with them. I would like to know, who is in charge of your command while you are away, and where I would be of most use? I will come with you if you need me".

Lana smiled as he approached. "General Rebak has agreed to supervise the companies while I am away. However, he will not be regulating training schedules, ect. ect. This leaves you with a difficult choice Captain. Either you march to your tent this instint and pack within five minutes or you will be one of my Captains that lead the companies to the battlefield. I leave this up to you as you're skill will be helpful either way. But the mission must be sent forth within the hour so make haste."

At the edge of the training field, Lana waited for her rescue party. The sun was just beginning to peak from behind the mountains. Today’s first rays silently crept over the camp. The Vritch’s mount was a tall, sturdy black mare named Anarel. All was prepared; at least for Lana. The wagon waited behind her, the horses held by their human groom, who would drive it. A few extra mounts had been tied to the back; including Lana’s other mare, a dark chestnut named Phoenix. She had stored her armor, glaive, and extra saddle inside the wagon. She wore simple dark breeches with a green tunic. A leather jerkin was over the tunic as well as leather arm guards. Once again, her white hair was pulled back into a long braid. Her sword, a long and slender weapon, was at her side. Several lock picks and strengthening potions were in the pouches at her belt. She was prepared as she would ever be. But heaven knows what lay ahead.

Aldar woke up as the light reached his tent. "Morning already??" he murmured. Quickly got out of his tent, he had his 2 swords within his hands and long cape at the back. He had no armour or something like that cover his body. Aldaar never liked that kind of things. He moved near the wagon and waited for others as he yawned near all of the rescue team. He saw Lana later with the guy whom she spoke to. "Come on. We have got a job to be done" he said as he yelled to Lana while tapping his feet accordingly.

Lana smirked as Aldar called to her. "That's your signal to get going on that decision; we leave in ten minutes," she remarked to Aldenth before turning on heel. She walked to her colbalt mare near Aldar. "Don't you tap your feet at me, you cur," said she playfully as she mounted Anarel.

(WoW there's a lot of A names)

"Pretty much" he smirked. "Oh, great he mounted on one of the mares nearby him. Please pardon my attitude, Mistress Virtch" he said as he responded playfully either.

(Hey, I would be appreciated if the rest of the party introduces themselves to my char, Aldaar of course please :) )

"It's perfectly alright." She smirked and looked up at the centuar and Vritch. She smiled at her companions. " Good morning to you both. Koltok, Korinth, is is Aldar who will be joining us." She beckoned over Meleth.

Korinth nodded his head and held out his hand for Aldar to shake. Koltok bowed, a fist over his chest. "You are most welcome" Korinth said.

Avalyn walked calmly up to Lana and the rest of the party, and let her hands hang at her sides,

"Whenever you are ready, I am, Captain." She smirked, "And old friend."

[Hey, I never knew Aldenth was a captain :P it's cool though :D]

No time to make a decision. Aldenth thought. He hated being rushed to make choices. On one had, it would be a great honour to stay and be at the command of one of the companies in the rebel forces. On the other, a venture into the heart of Galias' domain would be a great test, one he would find invaluable.

On the spur of the moment he made a split decision, and turned on his heel, heading towards his tent. Within a minute he was fully kitted up for travel and battle. His light chainmail vest was hidden under his leather jerkin, his scabbard resting at his side, and his bow at his back. Leaving his tent he hurried over to where his horse was kept, and led him over to where Lana was waiting.

"Permission to join you General!"

(errr. You're bio said you were a leader so I promoted you. :))

Lana beamed down at her friend. "It's a pleasure to have you along. Thanks for coming." Her words were short but sincere. One of the rare few times where she actually expressed sisterly affection.

The vritch caught sight of Aldenth. Lana smiled at his words. "Permission granted. Now if we are all present we will be heading out in a moment." Her mount moved toward the wagon, making sure it was secure and ready to go. She then proceeded to the right flank of the group. "Move out! Koltok take rear guard, Aldenth guard the left flank. Meleth lead us out." Her hand signals communciated to the group to head north.

"Hey, Captain get on with it." He yelled and clapped the captain's decision sarcastically. "Glad to see that you are in either Captain after all a second you have wasted to think about joining the party" he kidded.

[It did? I don't remember that :P]

Aldenth glanced at Aldaar "No decision should be taken lightly!" he said in a serious tone, "but I am here now" he knew that Aldaar was jesting, but he wasn't one to joke, especially at the outset of a mission.

Responding to Lana's orders he moved out to the left of the company, keeping his eyes peeled for anything that may be coming their way. he knew that no matter how close to home you are, it is always best to be looking, rather than waiting, for an attack.

"For the sake of yer lives I`ll be coming with you"

Rieltar said as he suddenly appeared from behind them, he had of course been ordered by his master yet as much as the others might have disliked him still his skills might come in handy nor would he slow them down for he was used to live upon the road.

"If that is fine with the general?"

He asked gazing at Lana.

Meleth trotted to the head of the group, moving skillfully as one with her horse. She glanced behind her to check that everyone was in place and began to start off at a brisk walk, waiting to see if Lana indicated a faster pace.

Stopping, her lips tightened almost imperceptibly at Rielter's sudden appearance, and she glanced again at Lana but said nothing, though it was easy to guess at her disapproval.
