Kith dug his heels into the horse's side and shoof his reigns. He bounced around, not at all at ease in the saddle. He was impressed, however, at the speed. Never before had he traveled this quickly. The horse's long legs passed over the ground almost effortlessly. Her tail was held high, her muzzled tapered, and her ears large. Except for her hight, she looked like the horses that dessert tribemen raised. Kith remembered them vaguely from his childhood. The mares were used most often, and called ya-bint-al-hawa, or daughters of the wind.

Shade's horse ran well and he was grab he stole him from the town before he left, or he and Elendi would have been on there own.

Layna quickly came to a halt at the start of a forrest.Her horse turned smoothly on her back legs and cantered off on a hidden pathway.
Layna halted after a while tolet the others catch up.
She was suprised how long her horse had kept up the gallope. She had only know Elven horses to be able to Gallope on hilly streatches of land for a long time , but now she saw a numerous ammount of horse do so tonight.

Shade came up besie her and asked hastly, "Where are you taking us tonight? How much farther? My horse could use a good rest and I won't mind a bit of sleep either."

" You ask alot of questions," Layna walked her horse into a glade.
" Here shall be fine" she dismounted and hitched her horse up to a tree .
Taking the saddele off the shorses back she laid it on the ground took out her picket and hitched up the mare.
Then she tokk a blanket out of her bag and laid on the grass onder a mature willow.

Kith stopped the horse the hest he could and dimounted. After a but of fumbling hie managed to unsaddled the mare and tie her to a tree brack in reach of grass. Aasifa sood on her hind legs and nuzzled him on the knee. He picked her up, careful of her sharp claws. In his arms he could feel her rumbling, like a purring cat.

Shade sighed. He lead his mare over and tied her up, patting her and thanking her. He sat down and took a bit of an apple and got the remaining of his meat out for Elendi. Elendi growled hungrily as she ate the strips quickly.

Dismounting from her horse a short distance from the makeshift camp, Aeryn led her over to one of the larger trees and took the saddle and bags off her mount's back, then took the reins and bit away as well. Murmuring her thanks for a rapid, comfortable trip, she gave her an apple from one of the bags, then gave Lenora the rest of the strips of meat she had. Smiling in amusement, she watched both creatures eat, then climbed the tree that the horse and dragon were gathered beneath.

Aasifa looked longingly into Kith's eyes, pleading for food. "I have none." Kith muttered. "None at all. Can't you hunt for yourself? Scavange?"
My mind is sharp, but my legs wobbly. Her voice was playful and cute. I am just a baby. Food?

Shade looked over at Kith and Elendi nodded approval. Kith took about half the stripes and threw them in a small bag at Kith. "Here...that should last her until morning." He said, and Elendi laid down beside him.

Shaking her head after watching the four of them for a moment, Aeryn dropped from the tree as Lenora gave her a plaintive look.

Climb on.

Lenora did just that, and dug her claws in as Aeryn climbed the tree once again.
