na'Tatha watched them leave, then went back to her suite. Life in the military was like this - 'hurry up and wait'. Some things never changed.

The hour gone by, Sahrai was standing by the Serendipity again, waiting for Viree and Kyane to show up. One major rule of negotiations was - be on time.

Kyane strode into the hangar, his lightsaber bouncing against his uniform, which was something of a combination of a combat jumpsuit and a dress uniform. A blue dress uniform. "Ready, Sahrai," he said, reaching the other Master. "Where's Viree?"

na'Tatha slid into her seat in the back of the passenger area on the Taarin diplomatic shuttle. They lifted off, and she watched the city below grow smaller and smaller, the buildings standing out with absolute clarity, as if the shuttle was not moving, but the ground was. The engines changed to a higher pitch, and the city faded away in a blur of speed.

Kyane slid into the copilot's seat as Sahrai lifted the Serendipity smoothly off the ground, and out of the hangar. "It's around a fifteen or twenty minute flight, right, Sahrai?" Kyane asked, recieving an affirmative in response.

The sleek black ship continued on its flight across the planet, raising a few eyebrows from the locals, considering the fact that it was heading into Maedan territory. Sahrai grinned. Sometimes people believed the dumbest things. He had heard from someone in the Palace that most of the country folk would probably believe that they were going to attack the Maedan. He almost laughed - it was a really funny idea.

Kyane was reading up on the latest fighter Sorosuub was putting out, when their destination came into view. It didn't appear that much different from the Taarin cities, but then, the two cultures were very similar. Soon, the meetings would begin.
