they got back to the village about 2 hours later. Meriana had fallen asleep on Altadon. she didnt even wake as they landed.

Cloudya had given Meriana her extra flying cloths, and had bandaged her back so she wouldn't be too unconfortable on the flight back. Once they landed she carefully unstrapped Meriana from the saddle and lowered her to where Gold Dusk waited ont he ground.
"You're welcom to stay at the cave until you can rebuild your house." Cloudya offered.

Gold Dusk smiled but declined politely saying they could stay at the smaller hut they had first lived in. It wasn't much but it had been untouched by the battle. He carefully carried jis sleeping beloved inside and lay her down on the bed.

Cloudya leaned against Altadon's massive fromt leg. She felt as if she could sleep for a decade.
