Luthien nodded slowly as Ellie explained the math to her, "Gee, it is a lot simpler when you do that! Thanks for showing me, I would have been lost tonight otherwise." She ran her fingers through her hair quickly before closing her books, "Whew! Glad that class is over, always seems the longest one of the day!" Luth slung her bag over her shoulder and proceeded to follow the herd towards the cafeteria. "What do you say to sitting outside, Melda? It looks lovely for this time of year." She addressed her friend, as Raven and Ellie had wandered out of earshot.

Melda smiled. "It is indeed," she agreed. "But how about we grab a table and I'll meet you there in a few minutes? I certainly won't need all these" - here she indicated her stack of books - "this afternoon, and I don't want to carry them around."

Elenya looked up from stopping her stack of books from tipping over to realize she had lost track of Haldir and Amoniel. She looked around and decided to follow a stream of people. She soon found herself in the cafeteria at the end of the line. She grabbed a sandwich and looked around. Not seeing anyone she recognized right off hand, she headed for a window seat near another girl. "Hi!" she said as she sat down.

Luth glanced at Melda's rather inconvenient stack of books, and grinned, "Sure, I'll save you a spot." As she walked towards the main doors that led outside, Luth spotted a girl looking rather lost. Amoniel had just joined her, and she thought she might just pass by. Her WT training and natural empathy for newbies took over, though, and she walked towards them with a purpose.

"Hallo Amoniel, who is your friend? I recognized that look on your face. Is today your first day at AU?" She gave her best 'Welcome to AU' smile, "I'm Luthien, and my friends and I are sitting outside, would you two like to join us?"

Will had followed the stream and went outside, deciding to have lunch there. There were several groups of people chatting and eating and she joined a group of girls she recognised.

Haldir looked around edgily and sat down under a pretty oak tree. She watched everyone sit together in groups. "Ah well..." she said to herself. "It's not my fault I'm new."

Then she took out a brand new bag of cookies and started eating them.

Haldir looked up and grinned. "hey Kess!" she said smilingly. "Nope I never did it ... it was too hard."

She swung herself onto a branch and joined Kess up in the tree. "Soo what is Scarlett doing sneaking off?"
